Why, they've got a active fan base here with numbers. They're active win or lose, so I don't see what the issue is?

    Stop. Just Stop.

If the Yankees rotation just pitches slightly above average, that is a juggernaut team. Holy cow, they're good and they're deep, plus they have a ridiculously deep farm system to use in case they need to make moves.

So, Albert Pujols is now up to 2996 career hits and there'll be a lot of talk about 3000. But, here are some Pujols stats that you probably won't hear about:

365 GIDP: 1st in MLB history
308 IBB: 2nd in MLB history* (no numbers available for Babe Ruth)
624 doubles: tied with Hank Aaron for 11th in MLB history

If you're slow as SH** and you hit the ball hard a lot, you're going to hit in to a lot of GIDP.

          It's not surprising:

          1) he has played a LONG time and has had a lot of PA's with men on base.

          2) he has always been slow...even in his prime he led the league a few times in the category.

As it is, his GIDP % for his career is 14%, only 3% above the league average.

Yep. Not saying any of this is surprising...but it's cool to see he's the absolute best at GIDP in MLB history. Especially because we fixate so much on other milestones.

I'd like to see more SEA games....they held their own against CLE and won 3/4. That AL West looks to be a tough division.

Damnit! It's looks like I won't get to see Ohtani pitch.

I'm going to be at the Angels-Rockies game on Tuesday, May 8th, and it was looking like the stars were going to align for me and Ohtani would start that day against Rockies #1 Jon Gray.

Instead, now due to the mild ankle sprain he suffered Friday night, Mike Scioscia said it won't be until the weekend in Seattle that he pitches again. There goes any hope I had of seeing him pitch in person next Tuesday.

It's funny how I hardly watch Sunday Night Baseball anymore because of the network it's on and now I've seen the last two Sunday Night games in person.

Game was fun tonight. Tons of Yankees fans as to be expected. Sanchez's homer was just ridiculous. Probably the longest homer I've seen in person. Didn't even see the ball land. Really wish we got to see Chapman v. Trout with the game on the line. Quite a few nice defensive plays though I wish Simmons was playing in the field tonight. CC and Skaggs were both pretty damn good, aside from Skaggs getting bombed by Sanchez. Too bad Ohtani wasn't around tonight. I would have loved to feel the buzz in the stadium with him playing.

                    Good time as always.

I don't think any sane person expects the Dodgers to fold this season, but they are off to a weird start. The D'Backs look like the best team in the West, Kenley Jansen has been mortal, and the Dodgers will have a losing record heading into May. And now 2017 NL ROY Cody Bellinger is getting benched for "not hustling?"

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts pulled Cody Bellinger in the fifth inning Sunday, citing a lack of hustle after Bellinger hit a ball into "Triples Alley." Bellinger, for his part, was surprised by the benching but understood "he's trying to prove a point."

Not having Justin Turner in the lineup has hurt. Kershaw has pitched well our offense hasn't given him any support so far. He should be 4-1 not 1-4. Our offense in general has been bad. Matt Kemp is the one guy that has hit well this year surprisingly.

Plenty of time to turn it around. Don't expect to win the division unless something unforseen happens.
