Please tell me you're being really, really sarcastic? Unless Pedro wants to buy the Dominican Republic, he doesn't need the money. This is about coming back to his legacy with the champs or selling out.

I'm happy to see Pedro leave.

He's on the downside of his career and this move benefits all 3 of my teams.

Let's face it even though Pedro is on his downside, he's still a fine pitcher. I know the Yanks and Jays are happy to see him move to the NL. But at the same time the Red Sox aren't going to pocket the Pedro money and instead invest in another player or 2 which sould help the Sox.

Hold everything. Reports are circling that Pedro is refusing to have an MRI done on his shoulder. The Mets have signed some stupid contracts lately, but I think they would have to go to a new level to sign a guy who probably has a tear in his labrum and won't even take an MRI.

Starks is reporting that it is believed Martinez has a 90% tear in his labrum and refused to take an MRI on that shoulder.
