Braves have done nearly everything in their power to make sure they don't win tonight. Can't make this many mistakes against good teams.

Re: 7/2 - 7/15 Game Discussion Thread
Missed opportunities this game at the plate, Bravos.

Same can be said for Yanks though...I think they are 1-24 or something like that with RISP this series.

They were fortunate enough to have half of their runs walked in. Braves in all facets have made mistakes all night.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”

Dag.
Phillips had pitched so well too. Stanton capitalized on a mistake.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.Comment

That wouldn't even be a homer in my high school's park. Braves continue to give the Yankees gift after gift tonight. Have no one to blame, but themselves tonight. They could have easily taken this game, but they just made way too many unforced errors hitting and pitching.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”

Man...that kind of homer is hard to take. I thought that was a can of corn off the bat.

Re: 7/2 - 7/15 Game Discussion Thread
Not dumping on the dimensions...it’s just an adjustment watching games there. Acuna’s homer last night looked like a can of corn and went out. Stanton’s tonight same thing...it’s just different. As a pitcher you make a pitch and think you got a routine out and instead it’s a homer...that’s tough.

Re: 7/2 - 7/15 Game Discussion Thread
I'll dump on them. They are terrible dimensions and the reason Yankee Stadium is up there as one of my disliked parks in baseball. Braves playing there or not I hate when an MLB park has walls closer to home plate than I saw when playing little league.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”

I'm all for quirks in ballparks, but I have covered eighth graders who can hit it five rows deep there. It's a bit extreme.Last edited by Watson; 07-03-2018, 11:37 PM.And may thy spirit live in us, Forever LSU

Glad to see the Dodgers offense has awaken the last month or so (hit 55 Hr's in June as team).
Max Muncy has 20 Bombs
Matt Kemp is about to be an all star starter.
Could possibly land Both Michael Fulmer and Manny Machado in the next few weeks.
Things are looking up.Comment
