Yankees are good, Braves competed for the most part. 4-2 so far on the road trip isn't bad. This team is still a year or two away from really being up their as a good team. The young arms coming up in the rotation will take them over the hump if they are what we expect them to be, but AA has some work to do to get a decent bullpen in there.

Well, the M's and Angels are just getting underway now, but here's an interesting article to revisit when Seattle wins that game by 1 run.

Tonight could be the final game for Jose Bautista in Toronto, assuming he doesn't return next season to face them on a different team, or gets traded this year to a team they'll be facing.
Friends now facing each other. Stroman vs Bautista. The one guy on the team who could match Bautistas personality/character.

Re: 7/2 - 7/15 Game Discussion Thread
I'm not a fan of GABP or Wrigley when the wind is blowing out. Coor's seems to be overrated as a true hitters park. I don't even think it is top 10, maybe not even top 15 in homers hit in it over the last few years. It just provides some nice moonshots because of that thin air.
Smaller dimensions obviously bother me more than most. It doesn't have anything to do with salt, I can promise that. If the Braves were taking advantage of it and winning I would still hate it just as much. Acuna's homer was a joke in the first game, but I'll take the win. Doesn't change that I absolutely despise anything being hitter friendly.

Well, since we are in this topic I too dislike small-ish/hitters ballpark. I find even worst when they built it spacious and then bring the fences in, such a bitch move (looking at you Padres, Marlins and Mets etc.).
And I think AT&T Park is the best stadium bar none.OSHA Inspector for the NBA.Comment

I liked the dimensions of Citi before they moved the fences in. O.co has nice dimensions and I enjoy the foul territory. Parks that don't baby hitters aren't bad. Wrigley when the wind is blowing in isn't bad. Sun Trust outside of LF isn't too bad since RF is a nice tall wall. The Twins have a nice big wall and dimensions I don't mind.
Marlins Park dimension-wise I don't mind, the rest of the park on the inside is pretty ugly. PNC is a great park. AT&T has potential to be the best in the league if I were to choose. Minute Maid is right there with it. Citizens Bank is a no no.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”

Petco used to be a real bitch for teams to play at. Houston's Tal's Hill was cool and that dead center was insane.
But honestly when you watch your team play and someone gets a hold of one and it just dies out there. Is a very annoying thing to watch.
It's fun to watch when team's you don't root for play with long dimensions. I guess you can't have your cake and eat it too.
Canes, I would find it hard to believe if your team hit a huge home run in the playoffs and it would be a cheapie. You'd be mad about it lol. I think you are overthinking this. You were really mad about that Acuna homerun Lol? Really?

Phillies sweep the Orioles and are now 10 games over .500. 47th win today. They didn't get win 47 last year until August 25th. 1 1/2 games out of first place now. Bullpen has pitched 15 scoreless innings.
When are people going to take notice of this team and admit they are legit this year?
