I know I shouldn't be since they've really played over their heads so far, but I'm so angry with this team right now. It feels like they are dead, lifeless, just going through the motions...I swear, if you watched them play right now you'd think they were 25 games out and not in the playoff chase. I'm so sick of losing baseball...nearly 5 years of garbage.

Wow the Mariners are so bad. Should be selling. This team has no shot.

I'm not nearly as impressed with Snitker, I thought he'd do really well this year.
If ATL chooses to let him go, PLEASE go with Wash.Originally posted by Gibson88Anyone who asked for an ETA is not being Master of their Domain.

Weird Mike Trout stat...he's batting only .152 this year in full count situations. And then he strikes out looking on 3-2.
Mookie Betts is just plain better.Chicago Cubs | Chicago Bulls | Green Bay Packers | Michigan WolverinesComment

Going back to some of the comments. It's good that you guys are feeling angry about how the Braves are playing right now. You're starting to have expectations even if it's a year early. I think I said earlier in the year that either one of the Phils or Braves would falter down the stretch. Sadly, it had to be ATL.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

I have been saying I don't like Snitker as a manager all year. I like him as a person and really want him to be better, but he doesn't seem to command better play well enough and he is a bad pen manager.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”

Re: 7/19 - 7/29 Game Discussion Thread
Lourdes Gurriel could be one of the best contracts in the MLB these next few years. Jays have him for 5 more years for less than 20M combined! Ages 25-29 for that deal. In the month of July he has hit .410 with an OPS nearing 1000, 10RBI,4HR in over 60 at bats.
That's TOP 5 batting average among all MLB players in July, and the only AL player with at least 10RBIs while hitting at least .370.
I think we all know that the moment Gibbons gets fired, he's making vacation plans the very next day, going fishing, not caring a single bit that he's been fired.
When Jays hired him, he wasn't even looking to be their manager. Everything the past few years has been a bonus for him.Comment

Re: 7/19 - 7/29 Game Discussion Thread
Scott Servais is a joke. Trying a double steal in the 10th with 1 out and Haniger at the plate? Didnt help that the umps blew the replay call. I couldn't tell when the tag was applied to when his hand touched the plate. Stupid decision, and blown replay call cost us the game. And once again Servais leaves Diaz in the holster. Laughable.

Imagine if you ended up with Gibbons.

And apparently, we can't do it. I don't care where we are "in the rebuild," the team has an opportunity to jump the gun and strike early and they're looking like this.
It's avoidable ****tiness. That's what angers me.Comment

Severino has been downright awful past few starts.
