I'm not gonna say go Brewers or go Cards. How about the Cubs take care of business these last 6 games and who gives a crap what these other teams do. That's my attitude. Bordering on some Natitude there...

I'm rooting for chaos. Brewers to catch the Cubs, Rockies to catch the Dodgers.

Lets see some play ins to the play ins.

In this vein, what happens if the Yanks and A's are tied at the end of the year? Who has the edge in the tiebreakers?

Yankees by virtue of a better division record.

I think there's only 1 logical way to resolve this.

Best of 3 series, winner gets home field advantage in the WC game.

To add on a bit, the first tie breaker IS head to head but they've each won 6 against each other.

Oh look, 1st inning and Cubs are already trying to pad their LOB numbers. Getting closer to wanting Chili Davis gone...not sure that helps anything.

Brewers up 6-0 early. Cubs down 3-0 early. Looks like the NL Central will have just 0.5 games separating 1st and 2nd place after tonight.

Wow. JD just quoted the fact that the Cubs are 13th in the NL with a .362 SLG% in September. Ahead of only the Marlins and Giants. This is painful to watch these name guys flail around like bush league players.

Got Pirates/Cubs in 1 computer, listening to the radio broadcast for Brewers/Cardinals in the other.

                          Long live September baseball.

And now Kris Bryant gets hit in the hand/wrist. Seems he's alright.

That's awful. This team is setting themselves up for a quick playoff exit.

Predictable room service ground ball there. Man on 1st, fewer than 2 out is an auto-GIDP for the Cubbies lately.
