I see Ender has picked up right where he left off with the bat before the injury...

LoCain doesn't like juiced baseballs either. That's why he robs them.

The whole team is playing like garbage. Now I have stuff to complain about again.

Welp, that Giants game was worth the price of admission.

Happy the Giants are playing hard and winning and not accepting the fate bestowed upon them by the Knowers.

            Hoping they keep it up.

Cardinals are playing solid baseball right now. I’m liking this Tommy Edman kid. Let’s not be stupid at the deadline this year.

Just saw the pitch Gardner was called out on...that really wasn’t egregious at all. Not sure why he was so upset? Did something else happen during the at bat?

Nothing to him, I think he was upset because he felt he had the bat taken out of his hands. Then the first pitch right after that to DJ got called a strike, they either felt like it was intentional or the umpire was just trash. That strikeout pitch wasn't the worst one ever, I'm just glad we got to see Boone yelling "bear the **** down" and "really bad start". It was like he really wanted the dude to do well, he was just disappointed.

                    Home runs since May 24:
                    Trout: 19
                    Bellinger: 17
                    Lourdes Gurriel: 17
                    Yelich: 15
                    Alonso: 15
                    Encarnacion: 15

Not bad for a guy who was sent to minors this year and making under 20m from now until 2023. He's looking like he will be better than his brother.

What DieHardYankee said plus it was a culmination of the ump getting a lot wrong in other at bats the first couple innings.

They need 74 wins. That'll get Bochy at 2,000 for his career. That's all I ask for.

Little confused about the game-winning play in the Cubs game because I haven't seen video yet:

So Bote grounds to 3B Machado (probably playing in) and he throws home to cut down Rizzo - was the contact play on? But then Mejia gets greedy and tries to double up Bote at first, Hosmer misses it and it goes down the RF line and Russell comes in to score the eventual winning run from 2nd? Do I have all that right?

What a wild play - and I guess it wasn't the only Pads error in the inning too.

Edit: Oh, bases were loaded, and it was a force at home. Still a big risk for the C to make that throw with the game on the bases.

Edit 2: Saw the video now and that was a HORRIBLE decision to throw to first. The play wasn't even going to be close, and although it's Hosmer's error, that's a throw that never should have been made.

I didn't think it was that bad of a decision. Bote beat it by a step, but Hosmer has to catch that.

Stroman having the game you'd want to have when teams big scouts are in attendance watching you closely.

Talk about superstitious. Danny Jansen in a slump. Started a game 0-3. In between innings he went and shaved. His next at bat he got a single.
