Evan Marshall's, White Sox, son is one of the cardboard cutouts behind home plate.

        I hate Joe Wests timing.

He has such delayed calls, you don't even know the call until 3 seconds after.

Full count, pitch is on the edge of the zone, he knows what he's calling, but slowly moves before making the call. You're not part of the action, stop adding dramatic effect.

He's clearly phoning it in at this point.

I'm not saying he does or doesn't do this, but some umpires call it immediately as it hits the glove, but they just signal it very late. So like, the catcher and batter will definitely know what it is, but maybe everybody else isn't privy to that information so early on lol.

I know not all do it instantly, but this seems much more delayed.

Maybe it's a lack of a crowd so theres no immediate/loud signal that it's a strike? I dont think I've heard him make a sound all game, and that's saying something in games like this

Tip of the hat to Hendricks, mighty fine pitching.

Rangers win home opener. First Opening Day shutout since 2007. Lance Lynn finished off the old stadium, and had the first start at the new one, kinda cool.

Watching the game...wasn't as weird as I thought it would be with no crowd. The main thing is these players can still play.

                                Well, except for the Brewers
