Same with the Athletics. Ohtani has walked three of them in a row, "driving in" a runner in the process.

Still no outs. He's not really showing that the dual-position thing works right now, heh.

    EDIT: Final iine... 0.0 IP, 5 ER, 3 H, 3 BB (30 pitches).

Next pitcher comes in and gets three outs on five pitches. Shohei'm how it's done!

Really good win for the Yankees. Down 2-0 in the 7th and the bats came alive and the bullpen held it down without Chappy.

Things are going back to normal. Jays bullpen sucks. Had a 4-0 lead at one point, and 4-2 with 2 outs in the 9th.

Hey I remember when Justin Grimm did this for the Cubs.

Christ, have a day, Nelson Cruz! 12 TB, 7 RBI, 40 YO.

And I knew a greenlit Trout on 3-0 was a bad idea for Fiers to throw a fastball.

The Tigers, Orioles and Marlins are each 2-1. Ugh.

It wouldn't bug me nearly as much but combined with all the other terrible rules in place completely delegitmizing the whole "season," having no crowd really makes it suck even harder.

It's actually been a benefit with no crowd. No stupid As banging, no stupid Seven Nation Army praised as some sign of unique fan culture, no waves, no worries about anyone getting hit with errant foul balls, etc

Verlander out for the season with an elbow injury.

Dusty Baker said that's not true; said it's a slight forearm strain and they'll shut him down for a week or so. He might end up there, but they aren't ruling him out yet.
