7-6 after a nice comeback, but that's a bad series loss

Of all the places in that park for Rizzo to hit that ball.

Hopefully the Cardinals can take advantage

And Ryan McBroom just launched one off of Genesis Cabrera to put royals up 3-2 in top of 8th

Nice! Apparently it was also the farthest home run ever by a Brave in the Statcast era (going back to 2015).

Also was the 2nd longest homer ever hit at Truist park (Stanton has the longest).

Ha, naturally. He has the longest this year also (second game of the season in DC, 489 feet).

And Bryce Harper just hit one 470 at Truist on Saturday. Is it the park or the pitchers? Lol.

I'll be honest; I hadn't realized until recently that Truist Park is basically tied with Arizona as the #2 most elevated park (behind Coors obviously). The ball carries, especially in the mid-summer.

What are you Braves fans expectations for Pache. I've heard he's a great defender, quick and very toolsy.

Very disappointed. I hate the fact tomorrow is a double header and the Padres account has the audacity to call it a traditional double header. The game today and tomorrow should've just been cancelled.

Pache is as good a defender as Andruw Jones (from Jones own mouth). He has a cannon for an arm (racked up 23 or 24 assists his first year in the minors before everyone stopped running on him). His bat has been slow to come around and I don't know that he'll be a super star because of that, but I think he can be a solid hitter who plays GG defense.

Personally, I do think that Drew Waters is a better overall prospect than him (better bat); it's a nice problem to have.

Nice rally for the Cardinals here; odd move by Matheny to pull Rosenthal with 2-outs in the 9th, but he was getting up there in pitches.

I thought you brainfarted when you said Matheny, but I just realized St. Louis is playing the Royals hah.

And wow, I must've missed what happened earlier on here.

It was ugly and not worth it. Trust me. Wasn't even worth the energy.
