Jordan Montgomery is terrible. I'd rather see what Clarke Schmidt can do. Can't be any worse. Or somebody else please.

Was really hoping that a series against the lowly Pirates would get the Cubs bats going.....apparently not....(Rizzo may finally be finding his swing, I guess)

The good news is that the White Sox haven't been a whole lot better recently so hopefully they can sneak out a couple wins and secure the division.

High stress! Yankees with bases loaded and down by 3...Sanchez comes up, DODGES a ball about to hit him, and swings at another pitch in the dirt....but then hits a ball far and deep, at the wall.....and Grichuk gets it! That was a few INCHES away from a grand slam! And Judge was up after that.

The Cubs offense was completely stymied but the juggernaut Pirates pitching staff.

They're going to need masterpieces by Darvish and Hendricks to get out of the 1st round.

I think it was Chili Davis that essentially said some players have the wrong mindset and resisted coaching...that claim seems to be playing out.

I'm not taking much from this season by itself, but having your supposed top 4 hitters all have their career worst seasons at the same time is brutal.

KB has been on a downturn since like May of last year. Javy needs a full season worth of ABs to even out his wild hot and cold streaks.

Schwarber is hitting worse now than he did when he got demoted, I'm not sure what's going on with him.

Who would've thought Jason Heyward would be their best hitter

I forgot that Mariners and Astros are still technically in the playoff hunt.

1,2,3,4,5,7,8 spots are filled, we don't know who the 6 seed is.

Astros magic number is 1. Heres hoping the Rangers can win 3 straight.

If Astros go 0-3 and Mariners go 4-0, Mariners win tiebreaker regardless if LAA is tied too. Angels win tiebreaker if its just them and Houston.
