I think they have that lineup wrong though. Hicks should be lead off DJ 2nd and Judge at 3rd.. I don't know why they are having Hicks hit 3rd he is a great on base guy. I know the idea is that he doesn't hit into DPs but your best hitter should be at 2 and 3

Yea I'm not too sure why Boone rides with that lineup. He likes Hicks 3rd. I don't think it makes a major difference though. I don't like Judge batting 3rd either though. I like a healthy Voit in that spot or Torres.

Oh, I disagree wholeheartedly. With foresight of what pitch is coming, my level of success should go up tremendously, if not at least my amount of well-timed and squared-up baseballs.

What you're probably saying though is these are professional ballplayers who had to do it on the road themselves before and had well over a year to prove themselves otherwise. Plus, they have become exceedingly good at fueling those boos to their fire of motivation. Like the Patriots, they're playing that card of the antagonist well on their sleeves.

I know what you are saying.. looking at that series though the yankees couldn't score anything. it would not have mattered. I think it makes a difference but people will now just assume for the next 20 years they are cheating if they are winning AKA patriots. This was 4 years ago too.

First pitch can’t get here soon enough, I’m still shaking with rage after last night. I could deal with them losing because deGrom got shelled but not because you wanted to play the matchup with Kevin Pillar

I'm falling asleep to these Tigers announcers, man. I couldn't ever imagine going 162 with them.

Whenever I watch MLB.TV, I'll watch the home broadcast by default unless it's a team/player that I follow, mostly because I like to have the excitement follow whatever can get me excited in the process (like the roar of the fans, as per the default). However, I have virtually no stakes in this game, so I went with the Tigers maybe for the first time ever. Bad idea.

The color commentator is really the culprit, but it's not like his PBP partner is picking up all the pieces for him either.

think this is the year mad max starts to decline.

Tatis Jr that isn't good I would say that is season ending Surgery I can't see him coming back from that, good thing Profar was signed looks like he will be full time now

8 players with Covid for the nats too WOW. 8 out of the 26 man. that includes both catchers as well. what a mess Almost looks like a AAA lineup out there.

They'd look like an AAA lineup if they were playing an MLB team. Fortunately for them the Braves are in town.

Can always trust Braves relievers to walk the park.

As much as I hated seeing Soto be the one to beat them there, at least it didn't go into dumb innings.

All I can do on this board is link to the tweet, but here's a near minute-long video of Angel Hernandez's bad strikezone calls in today's Angels-Astros game. With on-screen K-zone to show exactly how bad it was.

                                Wow.
