I've always thought that you should get 10 seconds to challenge a call as soon as the play ends. If you miss the window, too bad. If they can't reach a conclusion in the video review after 60 seconds then the play stands. Lastly, even if audio isn't included, we need to be given video feed of the review office. Show what they're looking at and show an angle showing them looking at the screens.

Also, have it explained why a call is overturned over PA. Time limits on reviews are needed more than time limits on pitchers.

Agreed, I think even 60 seconds is too much. If you can’t see enough in 30 seconds the play should stand. I just want the obvious calls fixed, not the it could go either way ones

I'm over it, get rid of replay. It seems baseball always got a high percentage of calls right (not counting the strikezone), even for how much bang-bang play the sport is. Whenever they get it wrong I will chalk it up to "the breaks of the game", just like I used to.

I only say 60 seconds to give them a chance to get additional camera angles ready to be viewed.

How do you **** up replay? I mean seriously. Why is it players are the only ones held accountable?

But these "professional " umpires are terrible. When you miss a bang bang play it's one thing. When you miss a replay or an obvious ball or strike. It's another. Then they get mad because they are questioned.

It's 2021. The commissioner thinks nixing an intentional walk saves valuable time. But we have to watch these clowns take 5 minutes to make an obvious call.

No competence. I'm convinced common sense is a rare commodity these days. I hate that I love MLB so much because I'm ****ing tired of the incompetence of MLB. This league does absolutely nothing right.

Twins-Red Sox postponed. If you've been following the news surrounding Minnesota since yesterday, you probably already know why.

Another cancelled game for the Mets, they’ll have an illegitimate double header tomorrow. That’s two less innings for the bullpen to potentially blow a lead

It's nice to have fans back and all, BUT....

Those loud and drunk fans are some of the only ones you hear at times, and they just dont stop mouthing off.

If these are the Cubs we get all year they are going to lose 100 games.

yes their another team like the yankees who are homer or nothing with offence it seems. but the cubs don't have any great pitching either their in big trouble this year. and will be looking to trade away half the team.

Chapman throws gas!!!! But the ump missed that last pitch. Hard to blame him I guess.

At the time they all were happy with that trade off just to get a ring.

Would do it all over again, too.

That's what makes baseball and sports so frustrating: Jays score 14 runs one game and can just muster one run the next game. There probably weren't many Jays fans who didn't think about this possibility during the run deluge on Saturday, either.
