in fairness that was against Cole where the Angels pitching does suck with Quniana and Barria.

It's funny though for years or I hear about from yankees fans is that their pitching is to be blamed for no world series. but it's their offence that never turns up in the playoffs. I mean they lost game 5 last year 2-1 to the rays and those games against the astros because the offence stopped turning up like they have started this season now. their pitching is the only reason they have won games so far.

Braves wouldn't even be batting .100 on the year if Acuna didn't exist.

Same with the Cubs and Kris Bryant. Hopefully he keeps raising his value for the inevitable deadline trade.

Not far enough in some cases it seems.

Sure, it protects fans from those foul balls and bats, but fans still want to reach over and grab a ball or touch a player.

Rafael Devers with 5 home runs in 4 games.

He's the first Red Sox third baseman to hit a home run in 4 straight games.

EDIT: And the Sox have won 7 in a row.

It’s now a double illegitimate game in NY, the 7 inning game has gone to extra innings

I just got pretty much everything I hate about modern baseball in the span of one inning. 7 inning game tied in the bottom of the 7th, Mets get the first two guys on base and fail to move either of them over. Top of the 8th and Mets get two outs without the guy on 2nd moving, then a passed ball moves the runner to third and then an infield hit because the Mets were overshifted let the Phillies take the lead. Now because of some loophole Lindor is the runner on 2nd even though he didn’t make the last out last inning

Don't worry the DH rule will be in next year taking away manager strategy and teams under 500 will make the playoffs it will get better.

I was listening to an A's game on the radio and the announcers went all in on their pitch for it, basically implying that it would idiotic not to go to universal DH. That it's too much of an injury risk for pitchers, and it makes the game look bad to have them even try to hit. You'd think it was like asking pitchers to do the triathlon or something.

The Marlins are going to win the East. Braves and Mets will fight for the wildcard spot.
