    Yeah that's pretty stupid.

Does the runner placed on 2nd get credit for a run scored in extras? That would be another unearned stat that comes as a result of this.

I would say they would. everything is treated as though it was a double. from a error basically.

I can live with an umpire botching a ball or strike call as long as it isn’t as frequent as Angel Hernandez, but to have an umpire not know the rules can’t ever happen. He knew it was a strike, he even started to call him out before he realized he was hit

Yea that was pretty awful. Really good game ending on that result.

One positive that’s been overshadowed by the ending to yesterday’s game, Taijuan Walker looked very impressive. They’ve had three outstanding starts so far, if they can get things going offensively they might be able to overcome their terrible bullpen and manager

Dodgers/Nationals was a fun game to watch. 1-0 final, Justin Turner with the solo shot and the only run of the game.

Nats really blew it in the late innings. They had runners on the corners and no outs in either the 7th or 8th and Turner up to bat and end up with 0 runs in the inning.

That's four pitches that I've counted so far that Realmuto has tried to flop. Insufferable player.

Carlos Torres is the home plate umpire. Don't know who that is but I like him.

Only way this **** stops is by not calling it.

                  Acuna crushed that ball

Also, loved the hit by Charlie Morton. Let's keep the pitchers hitting please.

Someone needs to tell the Jays that them losing doesn't help the Raptors tank.

I'll never understand the universal DH people.

People act like the DH introduces so much more excitement and offense to the game. It doesn't. The numbers don't lie. You lose out on so much more strategy for an extra run to be scored by each team each week basically. Sounds boring.

                      From the link,

Taking a 66 inning, 29 earned run season to a 66 inning, 30.5 earned run season inflates an ERA from 3.95 to 4.16 — a difference of 0.2
Wow, given what the numbers over the past decade point to we would see pitchers give up an extra 1.5 runs every 66 innings at the cost of losing a significant amount of managerial decisions. The strategy in the NL game far outweighs the minuscule runs increase we would see.

We got to see universal DH last year. It sucked. Let's leave it out of the NL forever.

I know, this is a never ending argument and both sides will never give any ground to the other, but we all know it's likely going to happen. Manfred is good at making terrible decisions so it'll be here sooner than we'd like and for no good reason at all.

This will definitely be the most significant moment for the Rangers all season long
