Canadian anthem wasn't sung last during the Jays home opener? That seems weird.

BANG Nolan hits his first homer for the cardinals to take the lead in the 8th.. glad that happened and no extra inning rules BS. Reyes should close the door now.. the NL central is going to be interesting this year that's for sure!
apart from that extra innings rules god I am happy to see real baseball back and a real season in April again.Comment

That wasn't Arenado's first homerun as a Cardinal. He hit one in Cincy.
Come on Reyes, settle down and lets get out of this. Forget the man on third. No other hitter gets on base/homers, we win.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I couldn't disagree more. Not a fan of the extra innings rule (although I wouldn't mind if they just waited till the 13th inning to put a runner on 2nd, and let the 10th-12th innings play out normally), but I would much rather lose in extras with a gimmick rule that applies to both teams, than on a horrendous call like that.Chicago Cubs

angels an jays game about to be ruined by another extra innings game.
meanwhile the As are in big trouble, they usually are terrible in April but never this terrible. I am not sure this year they will get out of this oneComment

When pitching is great, offense sucks.
After a great first 4 games, they haven't been able to put things together since.Comment

Just saw the video of Conforto's walkoff "HBP"
That's one of the worst calls I've seen. If it's a strike, it doesn't matter if the guy gets hit.. it's still a strike. Hopefully that umpire gets reprimanded. That's brutalComment

Ok yeah see another reason for me to rant about the extra innings rules
Borucki ends up having a run counted towards him for a runner that wasn't even put on base because of him and it was Dollis that gave up the hit for it.. doesn't count as a ER but now Borucki is on the hook for the L too. all because a runner on base which he had no part in.Comment
