Grossmont kid! Such a cool story. My mom is an alum there.

            Caratini was huge tonight.

Oh right, he caught Mills' no hitter as a Cub last year. Pretty cool.

                  Congratulations to Musgrove.

Crazy to think he was a HBP away from a perfect game.

This kid from the Marlins is throwing a gem early on so far. He is painting the corners with ease and making the Mets hitters look completely lost at the plate.

Yeah he’s looking impressive. Marlins made the right call not throwing at Conforto, he struck out with a man on third and one out in the first and struck out again in the fourth. No reason to give him a free base, making him try to make contact is punishment enough

degrom is three innings away from being 0-1 with a sub one era, Conforto with another strike out with a man on 3rd with one out. I hate this team

I'm sure the Mets inability to hit aided the performance, but Rogets pitched a great game today. Marlins got the shutout and a 3-0 win. deGrom probably regrets ever picking up a baseball in his life.

Sounds like James Paxton will have TJS

Looks like it might be a long game for Atlanta. Down 2-0 with 1 out and Ian Anderson is missing his targets by a foot on nearly every pitch. Needs to figure out that control quick.

edit - He got out of it. 30 pitches in the 1st though. Yikes.
