It amazes me how an ump can literally get hit in the face with a ball, and he along with all other umps agree it's a foul ball despite the ball clearly not touching the bat.

As bad as the Braves are, they’ve got the best organ player in MLB

To the ump's defense, you don't expect a catcher to miss a ball that isn't fouled and get hit in the face.

Somebody tell me how the Giants are doing this. It's like they turned back the clock.

Statistically speaking, this team is worse than that team as of right now. Giving up another 10 runs tonight won't help their case. That 2008 team also didn't strikeout 10 times a game which was nice.

This team is talented, but has a combined IQ of 20 on the diamond. That's what makes them even more infuriating to watch. Watch any Albies AB tonight. Watch Acuna getting thrown out at 3rd in the 9th. Those are the types of dumb plays this team makes multiple times every single night. The bullpen is bad enough that the team doesn't need to hurt themselves with dumb baseball every single night.

Terrible manager, incredibly low IQ team, terrible bullpen. That's why this team is where they are right now, so far below expectations and playing so under their talent level.

Oracle Park is now a hitter's park. Center field is shortened by about ten feet (and across the way), the arcade archways have been closed off and don't create the inward wind tunnel from right field, etc. They are living off the home run, offensively. Buster Posey is healthy and back, and when he's not catching we have Curt Casali who apparently can call shutouts almost every other game.

Their starting pitching has also been phenomenal. Kevin Gausman is having a career year, and starters are simply helping keep a rested bullpen.

I don't think we've faced an incredibly tough schedule so far, either. We've played the Padres and Dodgers when they have been depleted of some of their core players, and the Diamondbacks and Rockies are jokes this year.

I believe his MRI results today came back clean.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

One of the beat writers I follow said it was pretty good but they sent him for a second opinion. It’s going to take me a while to get over the paranoia from the team’s years and years of injury mismanagement

The DBacks have tied the MLB record with their 22nd straight road loss. Their last win on the road was Bumgarner's shortened no-hitter.

The Orioles are about to lose their 19th road game. Their last win on the road was John Means' no-hitter.

The league seems more unbalanced than ever, the bad teams are really bad and as much as we hear the pitchers are dominating there are some really atrocious pitchers getting trotted out there
