With the acquisition of Candelario, Kyle Hendricks is no longer the only Cub left from the 2016 World Series winning team (not counting Ross).

Anyone have any wild predictions for today?

Someone not being talked about being traded?

I think the most wild thing will be where does Verlander end up? Does he accept a trade? I'm hoping Baltimore.

Brad Hand goes from Rockies to Braves.

Choi and Rich Hill go from Pirates to Padres.

Dejong goes from Cardinals to Blue Jays.

DeJong to Jays for a prospect.

I guess Bo is out for a bit if they're going for DeJong.

Cards also included cash, which I'd imagine is money to cover if Jays don't pick up option in the offseason.

What’s going on in Toronto? Seems like they’re losing someone to injury and scrambling to make a trade every day

Verlander to the Astros is a done deal. Mets get Astros #1 and 4 prospects Drew Gilbert and Ryan Clifford, both outfielders. I have to imagine Mets are paying a big chunk of Verlander’s salary like they did with Scherzer

It's almost as if Cohen is totally pissed and demanded Eppler to find the best deals possible. I know it looks incredibly bad but the idea of flushing all these dollars for nothing and opening as much payroll as possible for next years prize plus more is still in his means.

FYI ......Drew Gilbert is a Lenny Dykstra clone

Looks like Michael Lorenzon is going from the Tigers to the Phillies.

I love what they’re doing. It’s the same strategy I used in Madden when I was ten, sign all the free agents and then trade them for draft picks. Hopefully it works out just as well in real life

Noooooo, I don’t want Gilbert going to the Mets.

Mets are sending $54 million to the Astros. Sheesh.

White Sox just traded Jake Burger to the Marlins for Jake Eater.

This shall go down in history as the Burger-Eater Deal. Or maybe the Jake of all Trades.

Per Passan the Dodgers and Tigers had a trade in place for Eduardo Rodriguez but he invoked his no trade clause to stay in Detroit.

Cohen flexing the wallet and buying prospects.

I just wonder what the plan is for pitching, there isn't much available and I don't think Ohtani wants to leave the west coast.
