I usually hate it when my teams start playing well AFTER they've been eliminated. All too often, it gives ownership/management an excuse to run it back instead of making necessary changes.

Yep, it's infuriating but when Judge went down. They treaded water for a while. And they were still right there at the TD. So what does Cashman do. Basically nothing. Picked up a White Sox reliever and some fringe MLB guys.

Still they hung around. But showed signs they were falling apart. So instead of calling up a few guys that were tearing it up on the farm. They just kept trotting out the same tired *** lineups.

If they call up the kids earlier. Like alot if fans called for. Who knows. And obviously getting Judge back in a rhythm was a huge factor. But they had time to make adjustments and they just didn't really even try.

I want a new GM and manager and to throw the analytics department to the wolves. And start fresh.

And there's Acuña's 40/70, leading directly to yet another heinous Cubs loss.

Acuna stole 2 bases tonight...he's now 41 homers/70 SB. Amazing season...

The Mariners need to give Yordan Alvarez the Barry Bonds treatment.

And they should have absolutely buried Valdez tonight, but the bats are MIA. AGAIN

Wasted the best pitching staff in team history this year.

Big Mig got a HR in his first AB, his final homestand ever, got another hit and scored before the game got rained out, he's getting celebrated like crazy, less than a handful of games left, hopefully rain doesn't ruin it

Angel Hernandez needs to be forced out of umpiring.

Harper wasn’t even close to swinging. But once again Hernandez makes himself bigger than the game.

Unusual play at Citi Field. Marlins have the bases loaded with two outs, ground ball to SS and Lindor throws to second but the throw isn’t on time. The runner makes a terrible slide and goes through the base and also takes out the second baseman who lands on top of him with the ball so now he’s out. It should have resulted in a run scoring since there was no force play but the runner on third slowed down as he approached the plate so after review a run was taken off the board because the runner on second was tagged out before the runner crossed the plate

Mets blow the lead in the top of the 9th in a game with playoff implications and now it goes to a rain delay

Rangers not helping out in the WC standings.

Either way, magic number for Jays is 2!

Win tonight + Mariners loss gets them in.

There's still a scenario where Rangers,Jays,Astros,Mariners all finish with 89 wins. I think Jays are eliminated in that scenario though.
