Its sad how stupid he thinks some poeple are. The steriod use isnt going to stop.
But what makes this pointless is that you really can't test for this stuff. If steroids are taken correctly, they won't show up in a test. Human Growth Hormone? No test for it.

What I find interesting is what the interaction will be between Canseco, McGwire, and Giambi in the courtroom.

I'll try. Right now Tom Davis, the committee chair, is giving his opening statements. He is basically restating what was written in the letter I linked to earlier in the thread.

EDIT - Now Henry Waxman (D-CA) is on there saying the same things Davis just did.

              The schedule is:
              1) Sen. Jim Bunning
              2) Families & Medical Experts
              3) Current and Former players
              4) Baseball Execs

I'm watching it right now. I really hate how these sub-committees have to do these kind of preambles but it's good background stuff.

If you want/can Cspan.org has both a video and audio feed of the hearing.

I liked how Waxman gave a chronology of all the events. He even brought up little know infielder, Manny Alexander.

I think Waxman is the one who asked the GAO to look into Cheneys dealings with Enron...the one that became a court case.
