Cheater. No more roids = no more homers = no more bonds. I hope he never plays again.

Hopefully he'll retire, and never unfairly pass Ruth or Aaron.

So its illegal this year and therefore a "cheat". But if it was okay before that then why should they be considered cheaters? Good point, but one that doesn't hold up very well. If it wasn't such a big deal, then why the heck does Congress care? Because of the younger kids that have tried steriods (whether it was legal or illegal), were killed or face permanent injury. So what does the player say, "Sorry kid, but I am doing this because no one says that I can't." What an +++hole in my opinion! What a selfish jerk! (Sounds like Bonds...)

Sure, the MLB has some responsibility for this, but were they buying the juice for the players? Were the MLB-hired trainers injecting them into the players veins? I didn't think so. It is all about ethics. Do you cheat on a test even though no one told you not to? Hopefully you don't. Ethics...all about making the right decisions even though their are plenty of gray areas.

Do you know steriods are ILLEGAL. That is breaking the law, if proof is found, he should be arrested and put in jail or heavily fined along with both Giambis.

I got that same feeling guys. What I want to know is how does he turn his knee injury on the media, or atleast use it to say that "he's done" and all that followed? If one of his mistresses has come out and called him on using steroids, that's not the media causing his kids to cry... To me, that was the most blatant use of his son sitting next to him for sympathy, coupled with the crutches. Give me a break!

"I really don't have much to say anymore," Bonds said. "My son and I just going to enjoy life. My family's tired. You guys [the media] wanted to hurt me bad enough, you finally got there.

"You wanted me to jump off the bridge, I finally have jumped. You wanted to bring me down, you've finally brought me and my family down. Finally done it. From everybody, all of you. So now go pick a different person. I'm done. Do the best I can, that's about it."

What kind of horse**** is that? He blames everyone but himself for all of this. I'm fed up with it. I would not be surprised if its a mild injury at best, but basically just doesn't want to face criticism of "chasing a record" during all of the Balco investigations and is running like a girl.

                      Once again Barry....nice job.

Agreed. Listening to him just now made me angry. In his own words, "I'm done" with Barry Bonds!...hopefully for good and for the sanctity of Hank's record.

I had very little respect for Bonds as a person, but now he blames the media for him not wanting to come back? Gimme a break. This guy is such a prima donna it's not even funny. I may retire him in the game, or at least change his ratings so that he is by far the worst player in the game and then rename him Jim Dowd.
