Nice to get a win but I'm a little disapointed we didn't see a better performance from Pedro. I was kind of hoping for a pitchers duel between him and Beckett but oh well.

Beckett's improvements are coming at about the same time I took him off my avatar. Time to start working on that Mike Mussina avatar.

That was a little tough watching Pedro get knocked around, though I can't complain about the result. Talk about a team responding to getting swept for the first time in a season, this Sox team is on fire! I think I'm more impressed with the errorless games streak than the win streak.

Trip to Fenway was an absolute memorable one, after what looked to be a horrible start with all the rain.

First off, the stadium maybe be old but it's mystique is incredible. I'll never forget the feeling walking into the tunnel leading up to the seats.

            Friday:
            Got Cole Hamels autograph
Got to see Dane Cook throw out first pitch

Seeing Manny smash two homers was something crazy. And I'll admit, after the 2nd inning, I was hoping to see Beckett go for the perfect game. Still, 5 1/3 was very special. The reaction the fans gave Kapler was crazy. I didn't realize how much they loved him up there.

            Saturday:
I got a kick out of the fans reaction to Myers pitching after the assault charges. Constant boos. Then Schilling throwing 10 strikeouts was pretty sweet. And of course...the moment that defined the trip...Papi's walk off shot. While I hated it, I loved it at the same time. He's so incredibly clutch, words really can't describe.

            Sunday:

We got down to Uno's by Fenway about 2 hours before gametime and then come to find out it got rained out sucked big time.

            Here's a couple of videos I got...

            Brett Myers getting boo'd.

Papi's Walk Off Shot (Crazy thing was, I only filmed that one pitch of his AB)

Holy Coco! What an amazing catch to preserve the lead!

11 in a row, the Sox sweep the homestand, and tie the record for consecutive errorless games at 16. Definitly one of the top games of the season for the Sox thus far. Schilling's split was filthy.

The pressure will be on Jason Johnson tomorrow to keep the streak going.

Wait, how did you go to 3 games in a row? Are you really rich, or do you know somebody with connections?

Neither. Me and my friend decide to go on a road trip to see 3 games at Fenway, and 3 games at Yankee Stadium.

All three games at Fenway were Standing Room Only, which weren't bad at all. We stayed in the lower level behind home plate. We got all our tickets off Ebay.

We didn't spend anything too outrageous on them either.

Coco last night = Willie Mays Hays.

Amazing catch and he pretty much scored the go ahead run single handedly with his baserunning. I loved Johnny Damon, but this guy is gonna be fun to watch for the next couple years.

I forgot to mention on Friday, I was completely drenched from the rain so when we got inside, I signed up for a credit card just to get a free Red Sox towel.

Of course, I made absolutely sure that it was folded where I couldn't see anything Red Sox.

Yeah I know we're rolling, but I'm not sure I agree with the strategy to spot Dontrelle a few runs...

bases loaded, 2 outs...just make a good pitch by accident so I can watch a ballgame tonight.

We've completely crushed the past two ex-red sox pitchers we've faced.

                                16 runs off Pedro/Sanchez....niiiice.
