That's pretty much what I would have done had I been in attendence.“Nobody in the history of the game tried what I just tried. We’re talking about on the biggest stage, in New York, playing out of position and asked to hit fourth for the New York Yankees. I mean, that’s never been done.” - Sheffield on SheffieldComment

Onto the game, I still don't know why the Yankees are so high on this Wang guy. He's so inconsistent and the Yankees hold onto him like he's Dontrelle Willis.Comment

Originally posted by camulosI guess I just get annoyed with all the guys that have been booed over the last few years. Bellhorn, Millar, Foulke, Damon, etc, etc. You'd think people would have a little better memory of what those guys did for us. Oh well.

I'd get upset with guys on our teams playing poorly, but I'd never boo any of the guys you listed. I was really embarassed with the way Bellhorn and Foulke were treated.
And you're right about Wang, I'm not sure their fascination about him. Maybe it's cause he's one of their few homegrown guys and he's cheap?
edit: damn I thought that was going to drop“Nobody in the history of the game tried what I just tried. We’re talking about on the biggest stage, in New York, playing out of position and asked to hit fourth for the New York Yankees. I mean, that’s never been done.” - Sheffield on SheffieldComment
