Nice hustle play by Manny to get to third on a bloop single by Nixon to left. Ugly slide though. First and third nobody out...

3-1 Jays on a single by Varitek.

Single by Lowell, 4th straight single off Halladay to start the inning. Bases are loaded for Pena.

Single for Wily Mo, 3-2. This is crazy.

And now the sac fly by Gonzo ties it up, still only 1 out with 2 men on.

Loretta grounds into a double play, so the score remains tied. That was big, they had Halladay on the ropes but Loretta has a tendency to put the ball on the ground and Halladay has a good sinker so it wasn't surprising to see. Would have been nice if Loretta had actually taken a strike before chasing a pitch low in the zone in that situation.

Hopefully Beckett can be effective for 3-4 more innings and we can hand it over to Timlin, Foulke and Pap.

Thank God this game is on ESPN tonight because the MLB.TV NESN feed is horrible with no score overlay, is anyone else's like this? Really ****ty service thus far this year.

Wow, Beckett just pitched a 90 mph changeup... amazing.

You should complain to MLB. At the very least, maybe they'll send you one of those complimentary 10% off coupons for their online store.

RBI single by Overbay. Another sloppy inning for Beckett. 4-3 Jays.

If Beckett didn't have the stuff he does his inconsistency would be concerning but hopefully he'll be able to shake out of this funk in his next start.

He's definitely had some very good starts, but we have yet to see an outing by him that I would call dominant.

Lowell with the clutch 2-out RBI.

Wily Mo! RBI double, Red Sox finally on top in this one, 5-4. Give the assist to Rios on that one.

2-run homer for Hillenbrand, so much for that lead.

Foulke lets up the Shea 2-run homer on a middle middle change. Game isn't over though. Let's go Sox.

I'm glad the Sox didn't go into the season with Mohr as the 4th outfielder...
