What does he use for an entrance song? I have yet to notice.

Happy to say we've got no mohr Mohr. Optioned to Pawtucket with Wells coming off the DL.

Coco went 0 for 5 in an extended spring training game and will probably meet up with the Paw Sox for a couple games before he returns to the big club.

the 0 for 5 isn't the thing I care about....I'm just happy to hear he leadoff every inning and could bat without any pain.

Now we just have to see how he does in the OF.

I don't think the OF will be anything to be worried about seeing as though it was just a hand injury.

He might be a little long-winded but that's about it.

I cam across this article about the comraderie of this club compared to the one's we saw in 03-04 (maybe 05 too). Pretty good stuff. Link

So what's going on up north, think the game is going to be played?

              Yup.

It poured here at around 5:30 but is supposedly done for the night.

With Gathright's speed that's pretty damn embarassing for him to be owned by that ball. Playing back or not.

Maybe the wet ground/lack of traction maybe played a part of it.

Son of a bitch. Wells is pitching great in his first game back and he takes a line drive off the knee.

Unfortunate, for sure. He's in some pain too.

                      Yeah that sucks.

Wouldn't be surprised if that just ended his career

That looked really bad. Ditto what Longhorn said.

Report is that he has a "deep contusion" and there's no evidence of any serious damage. More tests will be done. Hopefully it was just something that hurt initially but will be fine. I'd hate to see his career end on that note.

Yeah, that would be pretty sad to see it go down like that for Wells.

Am I hallucinating or was Trot Nixon autographing those baseballs with his right hand?

Nice clip of Foulke endearing himself to the Red Sox fans a little more lol.

All joking aside, I don't get the point of trashing someone on your own team who A) Did what Foulke did in 04, and B) You know these guys aren't going out their and sucking on purpose.

I'd bitch, piss, and moan until the cows come home with my friends, online, or with whomever. But their really is nothing to gain from talking **** to the actual guy who is having a rough time.

Why Seanez? I didn't see Riske's inning since returning from the DL, but I heard he looked pretty good.

Because fans think paying the money to sit in those seats entitles them to be a part of the game. Fenway is the worst because the fans are so close to the field and people stock up on liquid courage during the game.

I'm starting to lose count of all the players who helped us win a WS that Red Sox fans have booed. It's pathetic and embarrassing but what can you do? There was a great caller on WEEI today talking about the new breed of fans and how clueless some of them are.

Talk radio in Boston certainly doesn't help things. Glen Ordway actually questioned whether or not it was ok for Theo to go to Pearl Jam last night, rather than stay at the game.
