Nothing like blowing an 8 run lead in the 9th. Way to go guys.
Thats pathetic man. Hansen pitched to 7 batters in the 9th and he let 7 in 7 runs, only 3 earned but still. I can't beleive how bad their both doing, Hansens confidence has to be so low right now. He was on the team for half of last year, got lit up most of the time. Then he starts this year in AAA and he is still getting lit up. I really feal bad for him, they rushed him up through the minors, tweaked with his delivery, and completely lost his slider which was considered plus-plus.

On the bright side Ellsbury got promoted to AAA a week ago because he was demolishing AA hitting .452 for the year. And Buchholz and Bowden have been doing awesome this year.

Beckett needs to settle down. The Jays are swinging at everything so far, and Rios leadoff the game with a homerun.

Hopefully he can avoid his first loss and start the season 7-0

Pedroia with the long ball. I guess when you take swings like that you're bound to knock one out every now and then. In all seriousness though, he's been red-hot the past couple games. The Sox knocked Zambrano out early, looks like the path to 7-0 for Beckett is open for him. Though this place was a house of horrors for him last year so nothing is guaranteed.

Is there a reason Ken Macha is on the postgame show?

Great game. I think that new pitcher they brought in from AAA has potential, because his slider moves like crazy. Just if he knew how to aim a little better inside, that would certainly fool a lot of right handed hitters.

He's their newest in studio guy I guess.

Beckett had a rough first inning tonight but then he dominated the Blue Jays. I love how even though he had a huge lead most of the game he still pitched instead of just going up there and trying to blow the ball by guys.

Anyone know whats up with NESNs scoreboard recently? They don't have the thing up top, instead they have this little thing in the bottom right corner that is missing some of the things that are on the regular scoreboard.

Yah they go back and forth it seems. It's pretty annoying because the smaller one in the lower right doesn't show the count.

Wow the Blue Jays are in tough shape.

Where is Roy Halladay? Who is this imposter?

Wow, Halladay is getting killed. I left my car and it was 2-0 Boston. I get in the house, put some groceries away, turn the game on, and now the lead is 7-0 and Crisp just lined a double to left.

Technical difficulties, I think. They said they were having problems with it during Tuesday's game, and it's been like this ever since. I think they put the box up when they can't get the top score-bar to work properly.

Tim Wakefield is pitching awesome this season. If he had some more run support in his loses he probably would have 6 wins.

Our entire pitching staff has been awesome this season.

That was a pretty incredible road trip for the Sox. Hopefully they can keep it going through this home stand. The pessimist in me is waiting for the other shoe to drop, because EVERYTHING is going the Red Sox way right now.
