everyone in the park LOVED when he hit him... he got a standing ovation when he left lol, why were they warned before the game? i watched the replay on nesn and they said they used to be teamates but didnt know of any bad blood...

also, this was Timlins first start off the DL, I think he'll be fine, not sure if I trust him as the set up, but I don't think they'll send him down

Guillen, when he was with the Nats I believe, ratted out Donnelly for doctoring the ball with pine tar. It got Donnelly ejected and suspended. It was something Guillen knew from when they were teammates with the Anaheim/Los Angeles/Orange County/etc ad nauseum Angels.

Tonights the night everybody. I can't wait for Dice-K vs Ichiro, and I want to see how Dice-K looks in his second outing. Hopefully he performs great and the crowd is going to be soooo loud during that first pitch.

ahh yea I did some homework, they also had issues when Buillen and a manager they had got into an arguement, and Donnelly took the coaches side.

Can't wait for DiceK! I might call into work just to watch.. haha

I must add, I am loving Curt Schilling's blog. It's hysterical because he keeps pwning these sicko Red Sox fans that I happen to bump into all the time. Example:

Q-Way to skip over the ugly pitching last night. I understand why you might not want to talk about other pitchers but Pineiro looked like crap again. This is the stuff we want you to talk about- What’s going through his head? What does he say or teammates say to him? I feel bad for the guy but he needs to execute.

A-It’s one game. One game of 162. If it bothers you that much then there’s not much anyone can say to help you. I don’t know what’s going through his head, not sure I know anyone with that power other than some guys in Marvel Comics maybe. Thanks for the tip, I’ll make sure to remind him he ‘needs to execute’ next time I see him.

That rules, I love this guy. I can't tell you how many times I have discussed baseball with some random Boston ******o and he'll add in a "Nixon's gotta pick up the pace, needs to staht executin' ". This type of comment adds no substance at all and is just a whiny, needy thing to say. There's a couple other funny Schilling answers included in that link.

I love how one game our offense can put up ten plus runs one night and then the next night they can only get two hits.

Hopefully we never have to face King Felix ever again because he is unhittable. Their wasn't anything the Red Sox could do last night.

Anyone else loving J.D. Drew? So far I haven't seen any of the things that people said about him being lazy. He is a good outfielder who reads the ball well off the bat, and has shown to be a pretty consistent hitter at the plate.

IF he can stay healthy, he'll be one of the top free agent pickups.

He may have took the loss, but that was a pretty good outing for Matsuzaka last night. Clearly he didn't have his best stuff with him, and yet he still kept his club in the game and did better than a quality start. The good pitchers can find ways to remain effective even when they don't have their A game.

Woohoo, 2 game winning streak. Wake and Schilling both looked very good the last two games.

I'm excited for tommorows game because Beckett is pitching. We'll finally get to see what he can do against a solid team.

That is assuming there is a game tomorrow, or Monday for that matter.

I'm suprised that their running the marathon today, because the weather sucks so bad.

Beckett gave up a homerun to Cabrera in the 1st inning. Lugo got a double to start the game then Youk got a single to bring him in.

                                Scores 1-1
