I'm pretty sure I could pitch for the Sox the way the offense is playing right now. Hopefully they can keep it up for the Yanks series and get the lead back up to around 10 again and put the nail in the coffin.

Seven,
Seven,
Seven is my name,
Seven on the grandest scale
and seven, still remain
If they take two out of three in NY, it's over. One could even argue it's over if the Yankees fail to sweep. These are the Red Sox though, so I won't go quite that far.Comment

Re: Boston Red Sox: 2007
If the Sox win two they only gain 1 game in the standings, so the Yankees would have to lose tomorrow and then get swept for it to be a 10 game lead. It's nearly impossible to make that up in a month. Realistically, a 5 game lead with a month to go is pretty safe, but like I said, this is the Red Sox so I won't count on anything.Comment

But yeah, we're talking about the Red Sox and how many times have they let us fans down? lol.Comment
