Well, it's a trend. If you own your opponent in past occasions, then you tend to have a better chance of winning future games.

I guess you can call it confidence knowing that we've won 8 in a row against the Giants, Bonds doesn't seem to hit at all against us, and we always bring our A-game against you.

Well Bonds is on a tear right now and he owns you guys! So it can be interesting!

Funny, it seems like before every series against the Dodgers, you always say, "Bonds is on a tear!!!!!!!!!"

Unfortunately, he was just called out on strikes. According to MLB.com Gamecast, it was off of the outside border and should have been ball four.

I recall in '01 when he was approaching 70, they gave him standing ovations when he would hit it out of Dodger Stadium. Of course, there is the new X factor for people to boo him, but you know.
