No need for Tim to be rushed up to the Majors. Too bad I can't watch tonights game due to the Sharks playing. But the Giants have scored 5 runs in the bottom of the 1st, with a 3-run homer by who, Feliz? Hah!

And considering this is the second straight game that the Giants finished their offensive side of play only for Bonds to be left on deck, I think he should be batting third as well (though he did take an 0 for 4 today).

Russ Ortiz was placed on the DL today.. I wonder if this means we'll be seeing Lincecum soon, or possibly send Hennessey to spot start or something else. Ortiz was scheduled to start on Sunday against the Phillies in a nationally televised game. Should be interesting to see what the Giants do

Wow that sounds fishy! Like maybe they thought this would be a good way to try Tim out and see what he can do.

I just heard on KNBR680 (local giants station), the GM Brian Sabean just announced that Lincecum will start on Sunday in place of Ortiz. I'm pumped to finally see what this guy is all about. He's putting up crazy numbers in AAA. Also it will be on ESPN so that everyone will see what he can do.

he's been blowing up the AAA competition. He's got amazing numbers, and I've been waiting for him to be called up for awhile now. I got him in my yahoo fantasy league as an NA, so I don't have to wait for him to clear waivers or any of that mess.

Didn't get to see the game, but saw some highlights - surprised that Bonds was in the lineup in a daygame after a night game. Hopefully that's a good sign. Lincecum and Hamels tomorrow, two guys who hope to be household names down the line. I'll definitely be tuned in
