Yeah he is impressing me, but hey we gave up a stud of a pitcher, so we should get a stud rookie!

f*ck, I watched the game up until the bottom of the 8th, take a shower thinking that the Giants would win this game. Turn the TV back on, and it's freaking 6-4 Dodgers. WTF!!! Damn you bullpen.

Well Bochy played it stupidly imo. He sent Chulk out there, then pulled him after giving up a bunt single to Furcal. I mean, if you're going to pull him because of a bunt single, then why bother to even send him out there? Furcal and Pierre beat us tonight. It's routine, get on any way possible then steal 2nd. We gave them that game, sadly with Zito pitching tomorrow... we'll probably lose against Tomko.

What is even funnier is they are booing when he gets walk! Interesting! Good game, it was shaky, but at least they won.

Yeah, as much as everyone says they hate Bonds, they just can't stay away from him. It was amusing to see so many people leave when Bonds was pulled for a runner in game 2. These were Dodgers fans... and the Dodgers are in the middle of a penant run. Nice fans. It's also pretty nice to see all the flashes around the stadium when he gets intentionally walked as well

Tim Lincecum deserved that win last night, but didn't get it. Anways, another scary game against the dreaded Dodgers. And yeah there's some fans who are there to boo Bonds no matter what, just to have fun. I'm sure they are only booing because of the whole rivalry thing, but they know that how that they won't see this happen again for quite some time. Did you guys see the cameras focus on a fan wearing a Bonds college jersey for a moment? I thought that was cool.

I don't, I think deep down inside they want to see him hit! They Boo him and when he hits one they cheer him, go figure. I seen it a lot at different staduims this year. Boos turn to cheers!

<----------Frustrated. The starters get no help at all. Can we please get rid of most of the bullpen. What's the point of having quality starters when the bullpen will just give up the game later on anyways? Jeeezzzzzzzzzzzzz. I WANT TO THROW STUFF/PUNCH WALLS ETC..!!!

I didn't catch the game tonight, but I saw the highlights. I feel so bad for Cain and the rest of the staff, minus Zito. He should have at least 10 wins by now, except our team sucks.

Seriously, in 9 starts where Matt Cain has held opponents to only 3 runs or less, he only has won 3 of them. What is it going to take, for him to throw complete games everytime? I even remember him going the distance and held the Red Sox to only 1 run, a homer and he still lost because the offense is nonexistent. I totally understand if he didn't resign with the team after 2010. Just imagine if Cain had 10 or more wins right now. The Giants would still be competing for the playoffs right now.

Wow, I cannot believe they moved next Saturday's game to a day game. I bought tickets for that night just because I thought Bonds would break the record that night. Except he probably won't play after a night game.

Yeah I really wanted to buy tickets to another game sometime but I felt that I couldn't really tell what games he would play in. So kinda pointless trying ahead of time and you're going to get charged up the *** if you try to buy tickets the same day,

Misch did well in his first start, but again our offense is nonexistant. It got so bad that I actually wished Feliz was still in the game so he could accidently run into one. Hopefully the Diamondbacks can continue to dominate

So what do you guys think of the Giants young rotation?

Barry Zito is 29. Matt Cain turns 23 in October. Noah Lowry turns 27 in October. Tim Lincecum turns is 23. And Patrick Misch is turning 26 later this month (If Russ Ortiz doesn't comeback as a starter). Pretty cool for a decent rotation.

Now if only they can pick up better hitters next season. If Fred Lewis/Rajai Davis can get more better at their hitting they'll have some decent, young outfielders. Maybe pickup a veteran outfielder like Torii Hunter? Looks like Roberts is signed for this year only (for now, haha) and Winn until 2009. Based on past moves by Sabean, we'll probably have another crappy offseason. Frandsen is the only young infielder. Everyone else is a geezer lol.
