I think Brown will be up soon. He does have better stuff than Brocail. But Brocail at this point does a better job of getting people out. Cameron's the rule 5 guy right?
Still not enamored with this lineup. Just wish it had a little bit more speed and a little bit more pop from the right side of the plate.
If the rotation stays fairly healthy, and Linebrink and Meredith return to form, I'd take our pitching staff up against anyone's.
Hey the Padres haven't been that bad at developing players, they've been bad at transistioning them from the minors to the majors (i.e. Nady). 
I bet had Nady been traded in 2003 instead of Bay, Nady would've turned out quite a player by now because he'd be forced to play everyday with the Pirates. I still hate how prospects were managed the past couple of years (fortunately for Greene, Rey Ordonez decided to chicken-out midway through ST 2004.)

Lineup could be better as well as backup catcher. I just show hope Bard doesn't fizzle hitting clean up.
