Yeah, the ump just did a big FU on Clay Hensley. They need to send a tape in for this game and get this Paul Emmel idiot back in AAA before he f's up other peoples game with his ego.

That play would probably have not happened if Emmel didn't go power hungry like he did.

Not when the ump has to act like a hot shot and pull that crap.

But I guess I'll take it. The guy sure risked his job for a Giants win. Takes a screwjob by the ump to beat us.

This is not the minors, you don't show up an umpire. Regardless how wrong he was you don't do that! You let the Manager take care of it!

Trust me, Paul Emmel would not pull that crap off if Peavy was the one pitching and not Hensley. Some umps feel like they're the show and take everything offensive. Bud Black getting on his case just made it worse.

Bud should send a tape in to MLB and get this joke of an ump out of here before he screw up another game with grudges.

BTW, that play wouldn't have happened without the help of Emmel and I don't know how that's not scored an error.

Did the umpires also contribute to the four-run inning that allowed the Giants to break the game wide open? The game was won there.

I didn't see the game though. I'm judging by the box scores.

Clay had two outs and was pitching to Roberts. Thought he had a strike on a pitch and Emmel squeezed him there and had no calls to finish the at bat with Roberts. Clay ended up walking Roberts and Vizquel before Bud gave the ump a piece of his mind which ended up making matters worse. Bonds ends up getting a walk and everything is history after that.

This is what I'm reading since I cannot watch the game, but it seems pretty obvious that Emmel was holding a grudge against Hensley. I hope this guy gets fired so we don't have to deal with these hot shots. Umpiring is already bad as it is.

I guess Benitez likes closing out games in interesting fashion.

Enough with the two out rallies. Had too many of those this game.

Thanks for clearing it up. BTW, the question I asked wasn't intended to be sarcastic, just needed info.
