Who should be the closer? K-Rod or Putz?

        Good question.
I never realized Putz had such a fastball.

I've seen both on tv. It's really a coin flip between the two.

Should be quite a year for The Mets and Yankees. How weird is it gonna be not to see Yankee Stadium and Shea stadium anymore. Can't wait to see Santana vs Sabathia. Could be a duel for the ages:wink:

                  Yeah.
I haven't been to a Yankee game at the Stadium since the 80's.
I was hoping to get one in this past year...but it just didn't happen.
Both stadiums look FANTASTIC though(I drive by both of them all the time, plus got a look inside both of them fairly recently. Yankee stadium...WOW!...you guys are going to love it.)

Should be great unless both of them being there messes one or both of them up

Wow I wish I could see that everyday Knight. Unfortunately I'm in Florida surrounded by Braves fans and bandwagon Sox fans who still thing Damon and Schilling plays for Boston

                        Maybe not.
I'm usually sitting in traffic when passing both of them turning what should be a 5 minute ride to either the Triboro(I WILL NOT call it the RFK Bridge) or the George Washington Bridge a 30-45 minute ride

...but I know what you mean....nothing like NYC.
Especially when our teams are playing well.
I'll never forget in '86....EVERYONE was listening to the games on the radio in the car....you would hear spontaneous bursts of cheers when something great happened....like when Dykstra hit his homer...the whole Van Wyck Expressway was booming!

Cole also made the comment that he has no issues with K-Rod's "mound theatrics" because (and I agree with him on this part) that the only time one should celebrate is a walk off HR or a win -- that was brought up about the whole Reyes/Victorino flap in the postseason.

I actually also thought that Cole seemed a little hesitant to even say that at first, but the way the question was asked, how else was he to answer it?
I heard the interview, and I was surprised when I got home later that day and it had become a story on ESPN. I was like, "Are you serious?" Not FAN's finest moment. Now, that LT 3 hour spot with Mike Francesa yesterday, THAT was classic.

Francisco Rodriguez has a message for the Philadelphia Phillies and the rest of the NL East.

“Of course, we’re going to try to win the division. Of course, we’re going to be the front-runner. Of course, we’re going to be the team to beat,” he said Saturday.
Hmmm....where have I heard this before....

                            Helen: Everyone's special, Dash.
Dash: [muttering] Which is another way of saying no one is.

Is this going to be an annual thing now?

The team which thinks there better goes public w/ 'Where the team to beat'...

Jimmy...Awaiting your response of 'That's great K-Rod, but we're the World Champs'.

I was lucky enough to go to the HR Derby and ASG this year, incredible experience. It's something, I will never ever forget, that's for sure. I haven't been to Shea in the longest time, only been there once. I've been to Yankee Stadium, a couple of time before this year.
