I personally would rather have Cliff Lee, but that's my opinion.

Furcal comes back tonight wonder if he will start, and Sherrill is going to the DL (thank god).

I also agree about Paul, I feel like he is a stronger Pierre for us right now.

Well, Paul might be our future, but today... I had a chance to catch today's game and let's just say, he bombed it BIG time. Not only in the outfield but at the plate.

BTW- I love X Paul. Next year no Manny, no problem: Eithier, Kemp, Paul in the OF.

Can we get Oswalt? I hope so. The lineup this team can put together can match up against anyone when everyone is healthy. If there was an ace, it could be a WS year.

I'm so glad the Dodgers are back and rolling again...now we are above the Giants!

Draft day. But we have one pick in each of the first two rounds. Compare that to the Angels who have 5 picks before we get our second round pick. Way to go Franky, build that farm system

Manny is back in bean town. Should be interesting. I'm sure Boston fans want some sort of redemption after loosing to the Lakers last night. Kind of funny it turns out this way.

edit: I guess Big Papi is glad Manny is in the park.

I went to the last game of the STL series a week and a half ago. I was out in the LF bleachers. It was crazy and awesome at the same time. Nobody left until the game was over (Brox got the save and the Dodgers swept the Cards).

The games I've attended feel a little different this year. I don't know what it is.

edit: How does Beltre hit HR's from one knee? That's the second time I've seen him do that this season.

2010 dissapointment so far is Matt Kemp for me. Dude is hitting 260? He's been thrown out 10 times, 8 all last year. WTF is wrong with him this year? Ned was right.

It's not hard to figure out what is wrong with Kemp. He bails out on every swing. He is trying to pull everything, so pitchers are giving him a slider down and away that he chases every time.

If he doesnt correct it, he could turn into Alfonso Soriano.

meh, he's under 260 now and he's striking out on inside, outside, up high, down low, just throw it hard and out of the zone, he will swing.

Potential doesnt mean crap if you cant put it together. Kemp needs to be batting like 7th or 8th right now. He's terrrible.

He needs to get it together, the only people that can hit for us right now is Manny and Blake Dewitt. Either is hitting everything, but right at someone.

It's a long season, Kemp will figure it out. We do have one of the eat hitting coaches in the league.
