Everyone seen it coming, everyone knew, they were nto going to spend because of this.

Though the last 3-4 games the pitching has been ALOT ALOT better.

Monsterious! (i know thats not his real name) Pitched pretty darned good today. Haegar has been acceptable as a 5th starter imo. [BOLD] Kershaw while still wild, doesnt allow to many runs. Bills pitched a pretty good game his last 2 outings. We will see.[/BOLD]
    So much for that.

Kershaw got ROCked in two innings.

Pitching will be the downfall of this team this year. Let's hope they can at least be average.

Doing ok against the likes of the Pittsburgh Pirates doesn't say much.

Not this year folks. I am close to putting the 2010 season in a safety deposit box and throwing the key in the Lake.

this pitching is flat out crap.

They need to replace Bills with Ely like right now. Kid has pitched 6 innings of 2 hit ball in his 2nd start for the Dodgers.

Put BIlls in the pullben and they can pitch him like they do Ortiz. lol

I think Haegar has been given enough opportunities, it's time to send him down or release him. Torre seems to be managing like spring training hasn't ended yet. I say go with the hot hands Ely and Monasterrios (sp?) until we get Padilla back.

The scary thing is we haven't played a real tough stretch of the schedule yet.

Well, we know why Haegar wasnt pitching well. He was injured. I knew something was up, because in ST his knuckleball was floating, during the season, it was just hanging and he had absolutely 0 control over the damned thing.

Anyways, Dodgers pitching seems to have calmed down alot. The only pitcher outside of Haegar's last start that has been crap is George Sherril. He gives up hit after hit after hit.

Ely needs to stay in the rotation at least give him a chance to see if he can be there all year. He's pitched in his last 2 games almost better then any pitcher on the Dodgers this season. Last 2 games he's started 3 earned runs and here is the big thing 0 walks.

Well, 5 in a row. Either is still on fire. Pitching both starting and releif have got their groove back.

Word has it the Dodgers are looking for a starting pitcher already. I hope hope hope they can somehow get Cliff Lee. He's going to be out there to trade very very soon, but i hope we have something in the minors to give up. IN all honesty, i wouldnt be pissed if Loney was gone.

Well, pitching is what we've needed for a while but we have a bigger problem now that Ethier is hurt. Don't know how long he will be out, but let's just hope the offensive production comes through while he is out.

Can someone explain how Ethier broke his finger taking BP. He said it was a normal swing. That is crazy. What kind of luck is that?

He'll be fine. Just give him a few days off. Time for Kemp to step up.

ITs not a big problem, its a small fracture in his pinky. Few weeks tops.

Not worried about that at all. Either is a great hitter.

There is some nice depth this season on the bench, gotta give some props to Ned and Joe for that as much as we have bashed the starting pitching depth. Hopefully that will keep us together while Ethier heals.

Anderson, Carroll, Johnson etc. have done a nice job so far.

BTW, I went to Dodger Stadium South (AKA Petco) on Sat night. It was about 50-50 Dodger fans at the game. What a treat!

Yep, I love it. I went to a bunch of Dodger games at Petco when I lived in San Diego. Dodger fans always show up in San Diego. Speaking of San Diego, Petco is a nice ballpark in a great location. I liked going to the Gas Lamp after games.

Yeah Dodger fans really fill up Anaheim, SD and Arizona, it is quite the joy to see.
