i like it. if you get to the world series, this is what you gotta do. Dodgers are jsut not hitting at all. Such a talented line up and everyone seems to be struggling at the same time.

      2-9? I hate it.

Additionally, the Dodgers have one of the most difficult interleague schedule....ny, bos, laa, det. You don't see the Padres playing these opponents.

I enjoyed interleague play when it first started, but I'd like to see even schedules.

Well for a good team, i dont care who it is, at least break even. We have lost 9-11. Dodgers, 8 hits 1 run? Angels, 4 hits 2 runs? Anyone see anything wrong there?

NO excuses on who you are playing, If they want to be contenders and want to be there at the end, they gotta beat the good teams. No lame excuses.

This team cant hit. Pitching remains solid. HItting? I have no clue whats happening. Its a total flip flop of the first 3 weeks of the season.

That's the problem right there. They aren't good right now.

We had the best record in the NL about a week and a half ago. haha

Hopefully they get on the same page down the stretch so it can carry over towards the play offs. Gotta make it first though.

Would you guys be willing to trade Matt kemp for good pitching? I would.

I think it comes down to depth so right now I have to say probably not. You lose Kemp now and Manny next year and suddenly there is no power on this team. I think Kemp will be a good player but I think he could be so much more with the talent he has. Still, I don't want to give up on him.

Now that we are out of the interleague part of the schedule I'm hoping we can compete again and get on a roll. It's discouraging though, knowing that this team is nowhere near good enough to compete for a championship even if we come back to win the division.

I just could see the front office moving him. He has been out of the lineup the last 2 games and his mistakes this year have been embarrassing. I don't wanna give up on him but I wouldn't lose any sleep if we traded him.

Of course I do, but trading Kemp isn't the answer.

There is nothing better at all then sweeping the Gnats in SF. Nothing better.

Doing it again is the only thing better.

Seems that Matt Kemp is out of his slump. He's going the other way again.

Playing ok, but we still need another starting pitcher.

Yup. It's been mention Ely needs to skip a start and get his mechanics re-worked. It would be good to have another starter and work off of that. Don't know if any trade talks have been mention that are legit.
