    Re: 2010 Cincinnati Reds

A loss today, but I'm okay losing the series to the Cards since the Reds got the win last night. It was only one win, but it saved two games in the standings. That's how important these head-to-head games are.
    NFL: Indianapolis Colts (12-6)
    NBA: Indiana Pacers (42-13)
    MLB: Cincinnati Reds (0-0)
    NHL: Detroit Red Wings (26-20-12)
NCAA: Purdue Boilermakers (FB: 1-11, BB: 15-12), Michigan Wolverines (FB: 7-6, BB: 19-7, H: 15-10-3)

One bad pitch, and this one goes away from us. I told my wife as soon as we walked Pujols that we had made a mistake. Hurts, but we took one from them. 7 games up in the standings. I'll take it. Need to go into Colorado and get back on the right track.

      Go Redlegs!

        Re: 2010 Cincinnati Reds

Well, I left my camera at home. I'll have to post pics that others I was with took. Had a fun trip. Friday sucked. Had great seats out near the foul-pole in what I would compare to club level height at GABP. Reds sort of stunk it up though. Cards fans were fine until after the game. The alcohol + bitterness = people acting like jerks. You'll have that anywhere though. Saturday was awesome. I sat in the bleachers in first row right above the Reds bullpen. The ball Votto hit to the wall that Holliday jumped for and missed was directly in front of me. It was kind of cool watching the guys in the 'pen during the game. Several of them were horsing around between innings showing that they are still kids. Chapman was cracking me up when he was warming up before the 8th inning. Corky was catching him and when he missed balls, they would slam against the padding behind him. The Missile was bringing it. All-in-all, I had a good time. Didn't get to see the game Sunday since I was flying back. Didn't like the result but whatever. Still 7 games up.

By the way, visiting Busch Stadium a 2nd time (first was in 2007) reminded me of how much I like the ballpark. Great place to watch a game. Still doesn't beat PNC Park for me. I like the Busch Stadium design better than GABP.

Can someone explain to me why Harang is still on this team????
If he makes one more start I am going to organize a march unfront of GABP.

Pitched more than 160 innings the last six years, plus the contract. But yes, he needs to be replaced.

This is the last year we'll have to look at him, so that's a plus. IDK why he was out there replacing the guys who have gotten it done since he's been hurt, but ah well. Go Reds... Let's get 3 of 4 in Colorado.

Votto with some hustle getting into third safe!

I thought BP was safe when he did that classic swim move around the defender. Not sure though. Can't be 100% sure about a play like that.

1 run game after that HR from Johnny Gomez.

Very rough road trip indeed. Not the kind that I like, but the kind that we've been used to in years past. Now lets come back home, and regain momentum. Good thing the Cards have been sliding as well.

Couldn't believe the game ended that way. The Reds needed that win, especially with losing the way they did on Thursday. Hopefully they can get things rolling again.

By the way, I noticed the Rockies have won 8 in a row and are only 2.5 back in the NL West. Best home record in baseball.

Yeah, the Rockies are legit. Playing some really good baseball. That was an absolute heartbreaker on that game, no doubt. Hopefully we'll come out and play some good baseball this afternoon, and reel off another 7 game win streak. We just need to get hot at the right time, and that time is coming up soon.

Anyone hear anything about Bruce's injury?
