      Interesting idea from Baseball Prospectus:

5 deals that must happen: Reds deal for Zach Greinke
      Baseball Prospectus
The Reds should offer Leake, Bailey, outfielder Chris Heisey, and a fourth player---say, shortstops Zack Cozart or Didi Gregorius, or a low-level pitcher. Two rotation starters and an Opening Day outfielder might qualify as the beginnings of a doable deal, but if Moore balks, there's always the Reds' overflow of corner bats blocked by Joey Votto and Jay Bruce: Yonder Alonso, Todd Frazier, or Juan Francisco. That would be a lot of talent to put into play, but Greinke is a former Cy Young winner and legit rotation front man.

That wouldn't bother me, parting with Bailey, Leake, Heisey, and a 4th player. I know all of those guys are young, and in the case of Leake, just a rookie who really pitched great. But there's always the one year wonder rookie pitchers and of course, the injuries that happen when they get that eventual bump in innings and intensity. Greinke has been otherworldly on a really bad team in the past, so I think the return is worth the price. That rotation would amazing. Greinke, Cueto, Volquez, Arroyo, and... Chapman? Whoa. Whoaaaa.

Plus, it seems like we have a slew of young, decent pitchers. It's tough to give up that depth at a position we weren't strong at for a few years, but we have enough that I think it would be worth it. Intresting proposition.

I'd rather keep Leake if possible and deal Travis Wood or Maybe Sam LeCure if they would take that package. Probably would have to put in Leake though ebcuase he had more sustained success last season.

Travis Wood is the better pitcher, AND he's a lefty. no way do we get rid of Wood.

I agree. Although it's obviously only been one season for each of them so we don't know how they're both going to turn out, but I'd rather take Wood over Leake at this point.

No need to be an ******* about it, I didnt realize Wood had as many starts as he does.

Hmm, The Reds have signed the D-Train to a minor league contract. He'll be used as a relief pitcher...thoughts?

I saw that. I don't have any issues with it. Maybe the Reds pitching coaches can work with him and see if they can get him turned around. It's still amazing to me how far he fell so quickly.

really low risk move similar to the Isringhausen deal. Agreed to the above, too bad when you see guys drop off like that for what seems like no reason.
