They are making an art form of finding ways to lose games late. It's painful to watch

What do you guys think about Opening Day 2012 being a day after pretty much everyone else opens their season? That bugs the hell out of me. They should be one of the first teams to open the baseball season because it's tradition. The only thing they are keeping to tradition is playing at home.

I hope the first move the Reds make this off-season is firing their pitching coach.

I would LOVE for Jeff Brantley to step up as the new Reds pitching coach for '12

I think they should promote Ted Power from Louisville.

Apparently BP is going to be the lead-off hitter going forward and it's a job he wants. I have no issues with this. I'll even love it if he can channel Rickey Henderson in his prime.

Ugh, we had to watch those STL ****ers win it all... Between me being a Reds fan, and being in Phillies territory where the Phils were victimized by the Cardinals too, I'm a tad bit sick. I just feel like the Reds could've been the Cardinals this year but they let it slip...

The Cardinals bringing in Berkman was a huge FA move. The Reds made no move like that. It was basically the same team as in 2010. Despite the Reds winning the division last year, they didn't exactly tear it up against the really good teams that they played. They just beat the snot out of the bad teams. Plus, Scott Rolen was healthy (for the most part) last year and wasn't at all this year. Despite his age, him not playing hurt the Reds, especially from a leadership-on-the-field standpoint. I really think they were just exposed this season. Depending upon the moves this off-season, I think they'll be a better team in 2012. A lot of the young guys got some good experience this season. I wouldn't mind seeing a stud RH bat in the lineup somewhere and maybe get a top-notch pitcher that would bump Cueto to #2 starter.
