It would be like saying the Bengals are done if they start 0-1.
Have you checked out what Todd Frazier is doing at AAA, he's batting like .125.
If Votto and Bruce aint hitting were screwed????... Really??? If most teams two best hitters arent hitting their screwed. Come off the edge fellows, its a long season. Someone a few post up are already saying they cant watch this team anymore??? Again really?? If that's the case you were not a fan to begin with. They will start hitting, trust me. They have played 3 of the better teams in the NL so far. They have a ton of games left vs the Pirates, Brewers, Cubs, and Astros. They will be fine.
I don't think anyone is saying anything unreasonable. I also don't think someone saying they can't bare to watch the team permits challenging their "fan hood". This team is hey frustrating to watch b/c you see the potential. You see a pitcher give up 5 runs in an inning, only to give up just 1 the rest of the game. You see a guy get a walk off pinch hint, only to see him strike out twice w/ RISP to win the game. Then you see the manager pull a pitcher who is having one hell of a game, for no reason. Add to the fact this "win now" attitude of the offseason and how they still have the exact same woes as last season. I don't think anyone is saying anything unreasonable. I'm also sure we all will still continue posting throughout the season. Don't annoyed by fans calling a spade a spade.

They started 5-5 in 2010 and we all know how that season went.
I am with alot of you guys on Stubbs tho, its almost time to send him down to AAA to work on his game. The only thing is they dont have a CF if they do. And dont tell me Heisey is the answer in CF. He takes horrible routes on balls when he plays CF. He would do them more harm than good in CF. Actually Bruce would be the better option but I dont see them moving him out of RF. He played a great CF when he first came up a few years ago.
Setting at 4-6 after playing the Marlins, Cardinals, and Nationals isnt really that bad. A break goes their way in a couple of the Nats games and they could be 5-5 or 6-4.

^^^^ you're right. I was just saying I don't think anyone was being as extreme as you made it out to be.

          And you are right too.
It just bugged me that someone on here said they had had enough and couldnt watch them anymore.
Again they have played 10 games. They are not 0-10 or 1-9, they are 4-6.

Lol. So many times leaving guys on base. I'm just going to assume, for now on, every game will at least be 10 innings.

didn't know the Reds have only won 3-26 games @ Busch. Also Bruce is in the longest slump of his career 0-19

The 10th inning was brutal last night.
Lead off single, Harris cant bunt (why is this guy on the team?), failed hit and run that turns into a DP. Why are they hit and running with their catcher on first and their two best hitters coming up.
Then allowing the winning run to score in the 10th without the Cardinals even getting a hit.
3 WALKS! And a sac fly wins it.

Brutal it was. Harris can't hit or bunt, pretty much an automatic out.

You can pretty much say that about the entire team except Votto and Cozart right now. This is going to be a long year unless someone behind Votto can come up with a clutch hit. There is no reason to ever pitch to him with someone on right now. The last game in the Washington series showed why.

I hate the intentional walk in that sitaution when you are bringing in a guy who has struggled to throw strikes on more than one occassion. I also hate having Mesoraco run on that full count with one out. Unless you have someone who can steal the base, don't start him with one out. It kills me when managers do this. I see way more strike 'em out, throw 'em out douple plays than positive results from this.

I like that Baker is a gambler, just seems to not know when to take those risk.

I like the look of this lineup, hopefully it will help.
I loved having it Phillips-Cozart-Votto, but they need someone to hit the ball behind Votto, and Rolen unfortunately isn't.
