As bad as they played today, it is great to see Cozart hit like he has so far.
Hopefully he continues that the whole year.
Can't wait to see how Arroyo pitches tomorrow.

Reds comeback in the bottom of the 9th and take the series from the fish. Now lets sweep the Cardinals.

It would be amazing to start the season 5-1.

Yes it would. It's going to be so nice not seeing Pujols at the plate.

Hot damn! I love the win, but don't miss these heart attacks from last year lol. And ditto to Pujols.

Hopefully Leake can be solid all season.
I still wonder if they are going to transition Chapman to the starting rotation at all through the year.
Gonna try and get to one of these 3 games too.

                  Per John Fay's twitter:

"#Reds source confirms Phillips' deal. The 6-year, $72.5 million figure is correct. "But it's not that simple."

Apparently the Reds are printing their own money.
Its official Phillips signs for 6 years!
Wonder what ever happened with Jeff Stevens? lol

One of the best trades they have ever made definitely.
I was at school and saw his tweet and showed my teacher and wonder if that means he signed, and now it's official? Hell yeah.

I love this. In the last week we have locked up Votto and Phillips.

The Front Office is making some fine decisions.

I went down to the game tonight and froze my *** off. Lohse looked good again for the Cards. Leake struggled at times. I sort of understand the Reds struggling some against Lohse since he's been pitching well. But, Westbrook last night? C'mon. It is going to be a cold, windy Business Man's Special tomorrow afternoon.

I'm glad they re-signed BP. The fans have to do their part and buy tickets. Still, I wonder how they'll pay all of these guys. They need a better tv deal but that'll never happen. By the way, the concession prices and prices in the Reds store are a little ridiculous. $9 for a draft beer. I saw a small Lego figure of Joey Votto that was selling for $18. Some cool Nike gear was selling for between $85 and $100. I saw a normal t-shirt going for $36. Who the hell comes up with the pricing structure for Reds merchandise? Good Lord...

These big bats need to start producing more. We're leaving guys on base again. It'd also help if we stopped spotting teams in the first couple innings.

For the most part, kinda feels like the same team from last year.

I was impressed with Leake last night. After the early homerun by Beltran I thought, "oh, here we go again." He calmed down and pitched a good ball game and the defense was pretty good.

The offense looked really bad again last night. Hoping for a W today and more offensive production to avoid the sweep.

Really surprised Dusty hasn't played Ludwick more this series, against his old team. Heisey sure as hell hasn't earned it. Stubbs...needs to sit 'till he can figure out off speed pitches.Overall the Reds sphincter tightens against the Cards every time. they're all tryin' too damn hard. Cueto should get us a W today...I hope
