Kremchek is very respected by a lot of people, but I have had my doubts about our medical staff too.

When Jim Edmonds made his comments about our medical staff, I blew it off as a guy just butt hurt, and didn't think nothing of it. Then we sign Madsen and he never pitches for us, that made me think how didn't they catch that on the physical, but what started making me think that Edmonds might be right is when Votto had what was supposedly a normal operation on his knee, and he hasn't been the same since.

While I do have wonders about the medical staff, I think Latos is just mad he was the 1 that got traded, and he is known to be very immature, reason Padres wanted to get rid of him. He was mad when they made him have another rehab start, so obviously Latos is just full of it, as he is contradicting himself.

I have thought since Rolen left that they lacked leadership and it just worsen when Bronson left, and most Reds fans feel that when Dusty was manager the clubhouse was a circus under his guidance anyway, although I don't feel that was really the case.

Personally I think this was nothing more than Latos showing his immaturity and upset he was the 1 they shipped away. He had bought a house in Cincinnati not all that long ago, I think last yr, and I think he had plans to stay there for a while, and with everyone being rumored in th erotation to be on the trade block this winter, then he the 1 they dump just made him mad, that they didn't feel he was worth keeping.

Not putting names to the guys that were goofing off, just shows how immature and cowardly Latos is, and saying we had a closer sleeping till the 7th inning, knowing it would be highly unlikely he would ever face Chapman in a at bat. Be funny if he had to hit against Chappy now, Latos would be pissing his pants if he had to step into the batters box against him, lol. Doubt he would want to get in a fight with him either, I got a feeling Chapman is someone who don't only have a live FB, but also pack a pretty good punch, he did boxing in his spare time.

Votto just did what a leader does. Saw the team under siege, and handled it.

      Now let's play ball!

I bet Votto is just itching to get the season started and shut people up,lol. I thought it was funny how he danced around if the strength was back in his leg in his 1st interview. People act like he owes them something and should tell everyone how he is doing and he don't owe the fans any type of answer as far as IM concerned. He only owes the organization on how he is feeling an nothing more.

He is 1 of my favorite players and was my favorite player until Frazier got called up, as I have followed Frazier wsnce his LLWS days, and I was big on Mezoraco since they drafted him.

I hope Votto comes out and rack this yr like he did previous to injury in 12. If he don't then Id say were in trouble and his contract is going to sink us like Griffey Jr's did unfortunately.

I never seen a guy get ridiculed over not making outs like Votto does, there is some pretty ignorant fans that botch about that. If we had a lineup fullof guys that went to the plate with Votto's approach, we would have one heck of a offense.

I know he hasn't produced to what he did in 10, but offense is down across the ML, and even not being right in 13 he still hit like 24 or 25 HR's so he still has some pop in that bat. People worry about his low RBI#'s, well you have to have the benefit of having guys being on base to have that chance to drive in runs, you cant manufacture them for yourself, unless you hit a HR.
Fans really need to cut Votto some slack, I have even heard on the REds forums over the past yr that Votto has just lost the passion and wasn't hurt he just didn't want to play, I just don't know what gets people to ever say some of the things they say. I think Votto has shown he wants to play and play everyday over his career.
