No way we win 71...no way. We'd have to go 18-15 the rest of the way and that ain't happening!

I don't know how Miller continues to go out there. I would find it tough to go out there and pitch when the team sucks and gives you no run support.

I'd take a dump in every offensive player's bags if I was Shelby Miller.

        What an infuriating, bull**** thing.

Olivera called up...hopefully we have something to bring excitement in September. Also, reading a lot of the Braves blogs today and saw where we are realistically in the running to get the #1 in next year. Lot of fans saying embrace the tank...screw that.

I would rather us just get the number one overall selection and call it a season. That was the plan before the hot start. I know the first pick isn't as big as it is in football or basketball, but with that Hart gets the guy he wants for this franchise. The sad part is that this isn't a great draft... at least that's what I have heard because I don't follow college baseball or high school prospects.

Actually 2016 is projected to be a much deeper draft than 2015 from everything I've read. My thing is it doesn't really matter if you pick 5th or 1st in baseball as it's usually a crap shoot anyway. There is a kid who plays 3B for Arizona State who has drawn comparisons to Kris Bryant who could be interesting. I just don't want to watch a franchise intentionally lose...it's just wrong.

Pathetic. Sick of this basketball/hockey/football BULL**** permeating baseball. Sick of sports fans.

It's garbage...just awful. BTW - early returns on Austin Riley look good. Kid has been raking since he was drafted. Kolby Allard (our top pick overall) has made three appearances in rookie ball and dominated so far.

I don't believe in intentionally losing either. I have no problem with a youth movement, or playing it safe with guys as far as injuries and innings, but intentionally losing isn't right.

And we didn't even have the #1 pick!

Watching tonight, and it's hard to believe how much fun this team was the first few months of the season.

It's such a difference. First half was one of my favorite teams we've had in a while...it doesn't even seem like the same season any more.

I know, I know....I sound like a broken record. I know it's a lost season....but, is management really going to sit by and reward this coaching staff for THIS? I mean, shouldn't we see SOME improvement from guys like Wisler, Folty, Peterson, Simmons, etc?

No major league team should be getting beat down as consistently as the Braves have the last week or so.

This is my point...no, the team isn't super talented, and yes, they are young. They should at least be competitive every now and then...they are dead out there.
