Wow, with this squad (and some of its underachieving superstars) we are still in the Wild Card. I don't know about you guys, but I'm pumped to see this team with a few other players in 2006. It could be lights out in Shea.

I would agree fsquid. I really didn't expect much from the team this year and anything above 500 would be great. I really think they can make a more serious run in 06 if they make the right moves and shore up some holes in the order.

with the team the way it is right now.. they are doing a pretty dog gone good job.. making the playoffs this year may be a reach, but at least this season has been enjoyable so far...

Yeah, I did not exactly get the logic in that... will it be the road trip in which we FINALLY make a statement?

The fact is, we have a better division record than Florida, Washington, and Philly. We have shown we can beat them when we play against them. It's cleaning up outside the division, particularly on the road, that we need to do.

Let's start by sweeping the Pirates.
