They just said on SC that it was Jeff Xavier's brother - still weird as hell.

The Marquette defender got the Friars guy in the eye, but it wasn't a dirty play at all. He was just sticking his arm up to challenge the shot and he got the Providence guy in the eye. It was just one of those unfortunate things that happen sometimes.

hmmmm....the Big East now has 4 teams in the Top 10 just like the ACC. I wonder what crazy Mike is going to say this time as his reason the ACC is a better/tougher conference than the Big East.

Oh, btw Mike, we still have 8 teams in the Top 25..and in case old age is catching up to you..8 > 4.

Less than a hour away from Syracuse Vs. Pitt. I gotta believe Jimmy B is going to have the Cuse ready to play for this game. I gotta believe it is going to be a close game... Go Orange!

Jesus Syracuse looks awful. Very little teamwork on O tonight.

Well that was Painful. Probably SU's worst game of the season. If it were not for Andy Rautins It would have been a real blow out. Pitt pretty much just extended the lead right at the end when it was over, it was closer than the score indicated.

That Being Said, Wow. I am a pretty objective person but those Officials were absolutely one sided tonight. They called touch fouls on Syracuse but when Andy Rautins gets hacked shooting a three, Nothing.

I cannot wait until they get back into the dome because I have no faith that they can get it done on the road against a good team. Basically I am saying bet the Farm when SU plays at UCONN.

The big guys from Syracuse played real well the other day. But tonight every time I was watching they looked terribly slow. No help on D.

Rautins played with some heart. Dude was the only bright spot.

'Cuse is a better team then they showed tonight. They had a bad night and ran up against a pissed off Pitt team, that oh by the way, plays some pretty good defense. 'Cuse just never seemed in sync tonight.

I was actually pulling for the 'Cuse victory so they wouldn't be pissed when UofL visits the Dome on Sunday at High Noon.

Providence got a nice bounce back win tonight at home vs Cincinnati. Providence needed this for a confidence boost after letting the Marquette game get away from them.

So far they haven't proved much on the road outside of Memphis. They looked bad at G'Town and bad tonight.

Calhoun and Gonzo also met briefly in between their turns at the podium. Overheard was the following:

Gonzo: "How about Coach Kzryzewski, saying his league is better than ours."

Calhoun: "Tell him to come to our (league)."
                            LOL....

                              ahh...thats nothing..

last night on a local radio call in show, there was some ******* proclaiming the SEC to be "just as tough as the Big East". His reason for there being no teams in the Top 25.."because we beat up on each other and have knocked each other out."

I tried to call in, but was unable to get through.

UConn/Nova tonight in Hartford, Cunningham will probably drop 25+ on us but hopefully we can beat them up enough inside to get a W.
