Georgetown gets their heart broken again. Syracuse's insider posted this about 20 minutes before the official announcement: "Am hearing that Kentucky made a la$t pu$h.... There is a K under that hoodie."

Ugh... Not again. Good for Kentucky, but man it just sucks teams (Kentucky) reload like this. Noel would be at GTown or Cuse if their players had to stay 2 or 3 years.

And now UK might get the #7 recruit?! Come on... IDK, makes me want to play them even more.

If anyone really thinks that Cal has to pay people to get them to come play at UK, with the success they've had the last 3 years, having a brand new team every year, they're out of their damn mind. His worst team that was supposed to be a "down year" was a Final Four team.. Amile Jefferson and Devonta Pollard has dropped UK from their lists no less than 15 times and for some reason still continue to talk about UK in interviews. At this point I'm convinced Cal could sell condoms to a nun..

If UK players stayed, we'd still have Davis,Wall,Cousins, etc.
Nobody would want to play UK if that was the case. That's why Cal has been working behind the scenes to influence the NBA players' union to accept the idea of a higher draft eligible age requirement.

Kentucky basically recruits itself, and Calipari has a track record of getting guys to the NBA. I don't think he is paying to get players, I think he is just doing a great job at bringing in talent to UK.

Yeah, something shady.. Like where Terrence Jones told Cal he was coming, got caught up in the home crowd moment, and picked up the Washington hat? That kind of shady? Because that's exactly what happened. You can see his mom was even shocked when he picked up the hat..

Cal didn't call Terrence to change his mind.. Terrence called Cal to apologize..

Yea, that is a scary thought. At the same time, KU would still have Xavier Henry, Selby, T-Rob, Morris twins, etc. Teams would just be better overall... better games, better tourneys, better rivalries because talent would be more spread out and stay. I wish it were that way, and I guess I can't fault Cal for recruiting the types he does - pitching the 1 & done aspect. I think he's really the only one out there taking advantage of it while he can.

Bill Self could recruit that way & try to influence these kids, but it's just not our "way" of building I guess. Coach Cal is just ahead of the curve and figured you can win these days doing it..
