Cassell, Charles Mitchell, Shaquille Cleare, Jake Layman AND Stoglin coming back and hopefully Lin staying another year and getting Howard back from injury? I'm more than happy with that, especially with the ACC getting tougher next year.

Duke is still in it because his parents love Duke. His mom loves the education & his dad loves the fact he would get the most PT there. His dad also knows he would get more of the credit if they win since he would be their best post player.

UCLA is in it because his trainer Dion Glover is friends with the assistant coach.
Kansas is the school he really likes because of their recent history of developing post players(Darrell Arthur, Darrell Jackson, Cole Aldrich, the morris twins, Thomas Robinson & Jeff withey).

I see it really between Duke & Kansas at this point.

ESPN came out with an article covering his recruitment recently, and he was actually a lot more complimentary towards Duke than I expected. It just seems like Wojo/big development is his only issue. K should've either fired him or given him a different position a long time ago. There are a few things that may help in that regard:

        A) Bigs are made a focal point if talented enough (Brand, Laettner, Boozer, Shelden)
        B) Jeff Capel being on the staff and the fact that he recruited/coached Blake Griffin

I still don't think we land him but I'm more optimistic than I was a few weeks ago.

I think it's funny that both Kentucky and UCLA think they are getting Shabazz Muhammad. Both staffs telling people "it's done for them."

          Oh this is fun.

Devonta Pollard eliminated Kentucky & Mississippi State.

Basically down to Alabama and Georgetown. Visits UA this weekend then G'Town next weekend.

I would eliminate a team that hadn't offered yet as well. But I do like Pollard...a lot. Has mega potential. If we don't get Shabazz, that might bite us in the behind.

I think Duke will land 2 of the big 3 they're trying to land..

Shabazz obviously sees something off with Kentucky if seeing them winning the title didn't really spark his interest.. I've heard ucla but seriously, do you wanna be close to home or do you wanna win. And Duke, Duke is gonna have a senior team next year with Curry, Dre, Ryan Kelly and Mason Plumlee.. Add in Shabazz, Rasheed, Murphy, and Marshall Plumlee and it ups it even more..

Tony Parker, he's the one who I think has best chance of going to Duke seeing as his family is all into Duke, I do however, think that Shabazz Muhammed and Tony Parker will go to the same school which leaves both between Duke and UCLA.. And again I don't see why someone would go to a school that hasn't been relevant in years..

Amile Jefferson, Jefferson from what I've heard is between Duke and N.C State.. From what I've heard he's waiting to see what Mason Plumlee (Duke) and C.J Leslie (State) do.. If both stay I say Duke, if Plumlee stays and Leslie go then State and vice versa..

I think Shabazz is great, I don't think he can carry a team basically alone though, that's Why I think he's between Duke and UK

As a Duke fan I'm hoping to get all 3.. But it's not an exact science.. We'll see next week

Not sure where you think the NC didn't spark his interest or that he "obviously" sees something off, but here is Shabazz's quote:

He said, “That has an impact. Just seeing how they run in transtion, how those guys get out so fast and how Coach Cal has the guards really getting out and running the floor. it just boosted their option for me by going there.”

With that said, it is between UCLA and UK mostly from everything I hear and there are a lot more factors happening in his recruitment outside of just where he wants to go. No offense but I would be shocked if he went to Duke based on very good information.

Because in the article I read last night, he said it had very little impact.. And he has to know Kentucky will lose half literally half it's team.. Plus, especially for guards, if u want coaching and NBA readiness, Duke is best choice with K

I'm no UCLA fan but that's stretching it, you make it sound like they haven't been relevant in a long time, they went to 3 Final Fours in a row, sure the last few years were a bit down for them but prior to Butler falling into Duke's lap two years ago UCLA had a better stretch than the Blue Devil's for a while.

About 29 hours until the big decisions by Shabazz and Noel. Pretty much going to make or break Kentucky's season next year.

G'Town isn't going to be a contender regardless.

Syracuse could be top 3 pre-season if they get Noel, but they should be around the Top 20 regardless.
