Coast2Coast Recruiting now says that with UCLA's constant negative press and struggles "UK is now in the driver's seat to land Shabazz Mohamed" and his "if I were to decide right now" choice.

But Jarnell Stokes is reportedly wanting to enroll for the spring semester and UK has no open scholarships until the Fall Semester. But . . .

Wow! Can you imagine if UK were to land Shabazz Mohamed, Jarnell stokes, and Anthony Bennett to add to already committed Willie Cauley, Archie Goodwin and Alex Polythress!! This would probably be better than last years haul of Davis, Gilchrist, Teague and Wiljer!! Regardless, I think UK will still get the #1 class yet again, but this would put an undisputed stamp on it!

He has had the last 3 number 1 classes I believe, and I think Rivals have them 2nd this year behind Arizona.

UK is really turning up the heat both #3Randle and #2Noel. Call went to scout #1Jabari Parker as well. Looks like the #4 and #6 Harrison Twins are all but wrapped up. Imagine if that were a recruiting class!

#8Chris Walker publicly complained about UK not paying him any attention?? Calipari is the only recruiter where H.S. players act like gilted girls when they don't get his attention. Same thing happened in tweets from Tony Wroten and Quincy Miller last year

I was torn about the Stokes saga. Kinda wanted him at Memphis but they were in the same boat as UK, no scholarship and he couldn't play immediaetly. Definitely did not want him at Florida! It was kinda strange how this worked out. Had he stayed in the 2012 recruiting class and enrolled for the Fall semester like everyone else. UT was actually 3rd on his list behind Memphis and UK. But UK is looking so good with Shabazz, Anthony Bennett and AMile Jefferson, and UK will likely get 2 of those 3, he saw no reason to wait.

I doubt it. He seems to be in love with playing in LA rather than the school itself.

I really wonder why him and Jordan Adams are even going there. The program is a shell of what it used to be. And Smith seems to be another Reeves-like head case. Howland has lost control.. if he ever even had it.
